  1. Let us know what you guys see, interested if they change anything up on either/both sides of the ball and the player/positions analysis. Saw 5 Star Preps did an article on Rockwood back om 7/20 in their part 1 SLEEPER TEAM article but I do not subscribe so couldn't read it and didn't hear any info on the TECH scrimmage last week(?), but read some on of York post here. 2 weeks away. Oneida Team Pic via @IHVarsity:
  2. I the past folks submitted video like the Tech scrimmages to Max Prep but it looks as though the last couple it's been restricted possibly to game highlights only, no player or scrimmage highlights that I've seen. Keep us posted if/when you get scrimmage info please.
  3. Waldo? He was a sophomore last year and became their go to RB. He was on Rivalry Thursday against Oliver Springs and running through players. His twitter @waldo_dakota he has himself listed as weight:191 height:5’8 • RB/OLB • 40 time: 4.5(shows a vid there of that). It shows him and some player vids there. One uploaded yesterday: NEW DEADLIFT PR! 530lbs! At 191 body weight… Check that kid's/that man's vids out! You can see all their games on the Rockwood High School Alumni Association from 2020. From watching them briefly on the OS game they lost 3 starting o-linemen #69, #67 and #72 looking at the roster and return the whole back field expect #8 the RB. I too wonder if they go back to the same thing or maybe throw(no pun intended) in stuff from when May was a QB then assistant under his Dad or possibly stuff from his Co-head coach years(1999-2004?) with Coach Henry. I'm not sure what they ran back in the day. I saw them play some under Jim May a few games when Pike was qb and Meredith was RB going up against Harriman/Copeland back in the day.
  4. Most hated team(s): That's easy, whomever the opponent of the team(s) your a fan of! Just joking around.
  5. Any scrimmages took/taking place or any new team info? Get in here and post, it's too quiet in here! lol ;)
  6. I know they looked good last year and with all the returning players I see them making a deep into the playoffs.
  7. The 28th Maryville vs Bradley, Knox Central vs West, Oneida vs Coalfield and Farragut vs Bearden would be the order I'd pick/start with to want to watch from your list. As far as GP and Northview on the 14th, GP is already scheduled and I dislike seeing repeat teams playing lol, plus I think they lost a lot of starters, NV has struggled I believe the last couple years. I believe they played on RT last year too(GP blow out if I'm correct). So Farragut vs Bradley Central would be my pick of the two games, probably anyway. Thanks for the great reply!
  8. IDK anything about Monterey, looked at some vids on Max P from 2020, they looked like a decent team athletically and size from what I could tell but the vids were badly edited play to play, guess it depends what they return and how they fair with different opponents like everyone. Great info! Keep it coming if you get more please.
  9. I'd expect that from Powell an experienced bigger program returning some really good starting players from the last couple of years! Oneida from what little shown looked to throw decently, some good passes with open WRs, 2 TDs but 1 int on there. The WRs looked swift as well as the RB wasn't undersized. Is the QB #1 last year's larger QB? If so he looked to have lost some weight or maybe that was someone else not him. It's good see them working on the pass game.
  10. edit, I found it: Tennessee High School Football: Oneida vs Powell 7-on-7 July 15, 2021
  11. What does Monterey and York have returning? I know York only won a couple of games each last year. York moving down to 2A might help them having played larger teams "possibly" if they have experience returning. Monterey I have no clue about them, but last year their 2020 record of 9 wins, 1 a cov win. As far as Rockwood they always come to play no matter the amount of returning starters and etc especially against Oneida. Like someone stated previously they sometimes win when most think Oneida should have the better team. #15 for them at RB if he's still at there(think he was a sophomore in 2020) was a key player. I guess the key is what Oneida has now and how the new staff uses them like you stated, if they change up anything and etc. As usual I hope they start throwing the ball more, I think the 1 dimensional run strategy has definitely ran(no pun intended) it's course especially if they are to make more than 1 round into the playoffs. 12. I wanted to post the schedule and was wondering everyone's thoughts on the match ups they have scheduled. Also what games on the TBA dates folks here think would be good match ups(10/14 & 10/28). Obviously the schedule could be changed at any time. I'm surprised not to see Farragut on there but I'm not sure what their team will be like this year. Anyway, I'm ready for football season to start!

  15. Yeah I saw him punting last year in scrimmages and he was killing the football! I do not make it to any OHS games but I did see him against GP in 2018 and I remember him booming some a few inside the 5 & 10 yard line. The young man will playing somewhere on Saturday for sure. His Twitter handle is @jumpmankolby22. He has some punting vids there: https://twitter.com/jumpman22kolby/status/128775643240272281(July 27th) Some punts from the @JamesWilhoi camp this weekend! @CoachTLambert https://twitter.com/jumpman22kolby/status/1299806060300111877 (August 29) 5.1 hangtime directional left punt from today! In past years WBNT-com via/aka OVC(Oneida Cable Video) was showing their content free via the site under WATCH but now it will not working.
  16. 1. Meigs Co. 2. Oneida 3. Rockwood 4. Wartburg 5. Cumberland Gap Oneida is looking like a tough team this year and should take second imho, the only thing is staying healthy. I wish they would quit playing their QB on defense! He's a good defensive player but imho they need to keep him on offense only. Schedule: Fri Aug. 23 Oliver Springs Fri Aug. 30 York Institute Fri Sep. 6 at Wartburg R Fri Sep. 13 at Greenback Fri Sep. 20 at Cumberland Gap R Fri Sep. 27 Upperman Fri Oct. 4 Rockwood R Fri Oct. 11 at The King's Academy Fri Oct. 18 Meigs County R Thu Oct. 31 at Coalfield
  17. BBBtv12-com showed Roane County games of the week live or at least did in 2018, and you could watch/rewatch them on YT. Oneida's games are shown on WBNT-com the next day & Sunday(try watching on the Edge browser if you have a problem with FF&Chrome).
  18. I'm an Oneida fan being that I'm from Scott but I keep thinking CF in this one, in a very close one maybe by a score or lol by a PAT, 2 point conversation, FG type game.
  19. Not going to make a pick, could go either way imho. Can't really go by common opponents. OS hung in with Greenback 28-18, Midway didn't fair so well 49-8. Midway lost to CF 22-13, OS lost 22-16. OS beat Harriman 20-14, Midway beat them 41-18. I haven't seen both play, not sure of each team's overall strengths but I'm sure each team's coach's will try to put in the best game plan attack. Good luck to both and hopefully no injuries in what should be a close/tough contest.
  20. IDK much about Bledsoe except that they lost to a solid 1A Oliver Springs only 18-13 who played Greenback well, lost to Marion County 29-27 who beat Coalfield 26-16. They have 2 wins and are going to be looking to finish strong just like Oneida. I don't want to say either team is going to win, I think it "could be" close, an Oneida vs Rockwood one score win type game.
  21. I'm going to take York again this year. 27-13 York. I know Oneida has a good defensive minded coach in Lambert to stop the run but from what I've seen and heard about York they look tough to stop. Oneida runs well too but I think they'd have to get some long runs + long drives to speed up the game clock. Spreading their offense this year works in York's favor too imho. If the Indians go 3 and out a lot York's tough backs will wear on the D plus the look to have a sizable OL. The first half my guess will be a slobber knocker and low scoring. Oneida seems to be a 2nd half team this year and that's factor could come into play, they just have to keep York pinned back and contained 4 quarters to win this one.
  22. watching this live on BBBtv12 youtube.
  23. ONEIDA <big. Running clock in the 3rd quarter. Wartburg has been outscored 103-14 by Harriman & Coalfield. That is a rough way to start the season and hurts confidence going up against what they know is a good team at home. Wartburg 7 - Oneida 56
