Doing what one would think is the very reason they do something different. This is going to be a good game for both teams. Here's to all players staying healthy and injury free. That sportsmanship be paramount and that everyone conducts themselves worthy of their school pride. High school seasons are all to short anyway, so let's enjoy the time we have! GO Betsy GO !!!

lawnman I'm ready to be looked at and I feel like it's my duty to ensure that everyone around me has the "true" football experience. I'll shout, yell, scream, holler, jump, slap, kick, fuse (but not cuse!) stand, sit and may become mad enough to spit. All just to enjoy the atmosphere and the pageantry of high school football !!!

I do think we are a team that needs to and will improve week to week. We are not the style team we were with 28 in the back field. We have a lot of youth that needs time to develop and game speed is the only thing you can't coach. I still think Betsy wins but will be much closer than most Betsy faithful think. So with that said...Go Cyclones!!

Blazer .... this isn't a line up and bust you in the mouth "O" line like EHS has had in the past. Still way to many unknowns to be a solid team. So I guess I too shall wait and see.

I don't think that this team will have any let up. A week off will even fuel the fire more. They've been doing well with just a week prep but now two! Sorry for..."Who's next ?!" Dawgs continue to get the job done. Just wonder how many times Bye gets beat? He plays everyone!

Dawgdad they most certainly do! Lawnman can yell and holler all he wants to. He's not in the " I'm not amused.." section like I am. Still , I enjoy high school football and I yell, holler and annoy the ones around me anyway. Looking forward to see those Dawgs play again...might just make the trip to GP.

Blazer1 it is nice. I think you'll enjoy it. Just a word of advise tho, finding parking is a pain. Make sure to come early and get as close as you can. A lot parked at the Ingles shopping center. Since LaPorte give money for the stadium, he's so nice to allow ppl to park at his bank across from the stadium for $5. Isn't that nice of him ? Ok... Seriously, parking may be an issue so get there early. Now as for the game. I think this game will be closer than most are expecting. I know Boones 2-27 against Betsy but if the Cyclones don't sure up the penalties and develop more balance, it could go either way. Looking forward to another night of high school football.

Now that's impressive. Hey I can't walk and talk at the same time much less do what she does! Very beautiful young lady there BVDevil. My daughter is a Buffalo too except her colors are orange and black and they have a huge "M" on her uniform. Still, just seems like yesterday she was still cheering in high school and not off to college. Enjoy this special time with your favorite color guard. She makes everyone look like a rookie!

Got to get better at balanced play. Ran way to many runs to the left side which they stacked against. Very few designed QB runs. Have to get better in the kicking game. Need to spread out and run between the zone coverage. Little size usually means speed and use your strength. Don't have the size to run between the tackles like last year. Oliver is the muscle with Russell or anyone of the other back being the feet. Still , if he's out then the running game will need a complete over haul.

Tab....I come to hear pads popping and not the band! Shocker I know. Let's see them sell out the stadium for just a band concert and then see how much the band can draw.

lawnman I hope you had better support around you than I did. For the longest time I thought I was a chess tournament and not a football game! I even got called down by ppl beside me when I yelled out that the 'Horns had 12 players on the field. If that wasn't bad enough... They kept the same 12 on the field for three plays! No one ever called them on it. Was yelling to get someones attention and I was asked to "pipe down". Really?! At a football game? If you want quiet GO TO THE LIBRARY!! Just hope the first time jitters in the new house is over. Closing on a good note. The 98 yard TD pass from Tyree to Smith was the highlight of the game. Now.... let's enjoy the "W" and get busy for Boone.

Just saw on TDFN the big pick return by Jones! Man that looked good! I knew the Dawgs would take care of business. Glad to see the hard work is paying off. Couldnt give update cause in the new stadium I've got almost no signal! Had to wait til after the game to see how well they did. Way to go Dawgs!!'

Well how can I put this...all hype and no bite! Simple as that. New stadium looked great and was much nicer than I had expected. The teams performance and over all emotion for the game...ZERO! EHS had to have 200 yrds in penalties! Let the 'Horns hang around way too long! I think they were trying to impress people and not take care of business. I was yelling for the 'Clones and ppl around me were just tight lipped and unamused. The thing I felt most surprised with is... When your team is winning, why leave ?! Stay and support the young players and encourage them too.

Uknoit...Pujo....here's to the Dawgs tonight! I've got to watch the 'Horns play Betsy tonight so I can't be at this game. Gotta help Lawnman yell and cause a few to be upset at the crude actions of a few adolescent men! Heck I might even satnd up !!! Might just cause a huge issue and shout for the Betsy Band !! Keep me updated on here and see how well these young hungry "pugs.." do! GO BIG BLUE !!!

Well it's here......game day! Here's wishing and praying that all the 'Horns cheerleaders, players coaches and fans have a safe rip around the lake. That all play to the best of their ability and stay injury free. That every person supports their team with respect, class and true school spirit. These young men practice hard to play on Friday nights. So let's come out and support these men and enjoy a fun night with our friends. High school years are all to short and before you know it it's late November and the seasons gone. Regardless how the game turns out please just remember...it's just a game. Life is far more than "W' and "L". So enjoy tonight and GO BETSY GO !!!

Yep. Ethan was in multiple times during the game. What I thought was encouraging was the fact that he was put in the game early on. Didn't wait until it was a huge lead going into a blow out win. Inside the twenty with the first good drive and he scores. They seem very excited about him. The announcers were laughing and saying every Colonel fans was getting their rosters out and seeing who that power back was and they were all up about his power. They finished with " get use to hearing that name....he's just a freshman."" Seems like he'll do quiet well.
