  1. i still don't understand why anyone is holding blackman up on a pedestal. their very good coach can't control the team, the "good nucleus" likes to explode and try to fight the ref when their "best defense in the state" gets 2 goals scored on them in the first half. when they stop thinking theyre the hardest kids to ever step on a soccer field, they might get some respect, maybe.
  2. I know it is way too early to say this with any certainty, but who would you pick to win it all? No top ten lists, just the champions and why.
  3. Brentwood has lost large numbers of starters the past couple years and have always come back strong. I'm also going to say that it isn't right that Blackman is that high. They have, in my mind, the easiest road to state and will probably make it. They may finish high again, but last year they were definately not the 3rd best team in the state. Also, I think some people are going to underestimate Hendersonville without Kelly. I played and lost to them without Kelly, they have plenty more talent and I don't think they lost too many seniors.
  4. i love jordan leedle... a lot!!! sorry i dont have anything to say about odp stuff.
  5. It is natural for you, as a Hendersonville fan, to feel that you deserved to win. But to say that Hendersonville would have taken it easily without the red card is ridiculous. That's like me saying that with a different set of refs, Brentwood would have walked all over them. It isn't true. Both teams were very evenly matched. If they played ten games, it would probably end up 5-5. We just happened to be the better team on that day. It's unfortunate that the refs played such a big role in the game, but he didn't screw Hendersonville anymore than he screwed Brentwood.
  6. You're right that red cards do change games. It's also true that the red card was a pretty harsh call. But the one thing that you, and the rest of the Hendersonville fans, have failed to mention is the penalty kick in the first half. It was an obvious flop and the ref even admitted to one of our players that it was a dive, but nobody brings this incident up. If that penalty kick hadn't been called then the score at the end of regulation would have been 3-2. I think that changes things entirely also. With the way everyone has been posting on these boards, someone that wasn't at the games would think that the refs were running around wearing Brentwood soccer shirts. All I'm saying is that if you're gonna talk about how horrible the refs were, try not to be so biased.
  7. now i do beleive that a bunch of freshman and sophmores scored on Boyette from Brentwood so idk but wat do i kno i havent played in a long while soccerfreak1, what are you talking about?
  8. sometimes if a team is bad enough it is really hard not to beat them by a lot
  9. although i havent seen many of these teams play, i have seen ba and page play and i would say that ba is the better team. i dont think that they could beat franklin or centennial, but im not positive on that.
  10. as you said yourself, the AAA schools are pretty much always going to be better than the A/AA schools. so it is understandable that the A/AA schools, such as page and fairview, aren't considered the best in the county.
  11. i'm not gonna try to make a ranking for the whole county, but i would personally put ravenwood in ydet's rankings. i have a feeling they will be a big surprise to most teams this year and they already tied franklin and beat ba.
  12. I would just like to ask DJ why it took him two weeks to think of something to say to E-burt?

    Conditioning

id have to agree that bhs has the hardest conditioning. i dont think ive heard of any other teams do as much running as we do, but i could be wrong.
