  1. I see we have another member of the Alcoa Hater's Club 👀 lol
  2. Of course we did. Injury bug killed us last year and 3 games in 9 days wasn't the smartest thing to do for this year, especially with 7 players playing on both sides of the ball that game against a team that can roll 11 different guys on offense, defense, and even special teams if anyone noticed. The years Alcoa has beaten Maryville, they had a team that had depth and didn't have to play a lot of players on both sides. But let's not make excuses. Maryville is a great program because of their coaching, depth, and community. Just imagine Alcoa with depth equal to Maryville's. Now tell me who would win?? We'll eventually see that in the future with the new school and the expansion of Alcoa as a community.
  3. That will definitely be a matchup to see!! #60 (Alcoa) vs. #50 (Catholic)
  4. Don't drink the Catholic Koolaid fellas lol
  5. Alcoa with the win this Friday. Despite having 5 turnovers last week, 4 in the redzone, we still won. It was 31-7 in the 4th and then they threw the second string defense out there. Maplewood ended up scoring twice making the win not look that well. Talked to a few coaches about what was the issue with Maplewood and they said they talked about Maplewood with the players for maybe 20 minutes and worked on Catholic and a few potential playoff teams they might face. The coaches have been preparing for this game for a while. A prepared Alcoa team is dangerous. Expect to see a beat down Friday.
  6. No sir. Although it will be a great game.
  7. Jaqcuez Tyson (RB) and Kyle-Malik Mitchell (OL) from Alcoa
  8. I was there to see my wife's nephews play against Alcoa's freshman team....one was a sophomore and the other was a junior, and they scored a couple touchdowns. But hey....just call me a liar lol Anyways....Fulton is the least of Alcoa's worries.
  9. Well if we're going to bring up that "freshman game", let's just tell the whole story then lol it was Alcoa's freshmen vs. fulton's JV.... I honestly don't see that as a fair matchup unless Fulton is really that bad of a team but Alcoa stayed in the game until the 4th quarter with Alcoa only having 15-20 kids out there against Fulton's JV squad of at least 40 kids. I don't believe that game is really relevant to the whole situation but kudos to you for trying lol Who's next??? Haha
  10. Oh...you mean the Wright kid?? The kid that reached out to Alcoa for 3 years? The kid that wanted to play with real winners and have the opportunity to play at the next level? Lol if that bothers you then you're just wasting your time. We've already been under investigation about it and everything the Wright kid decided to do was completely fine. He spent years trying to move to Alcoa until he final did. We don't recruit. Kids reach out to us and everyone would be surprised at how many we've turned down.
  11. It was last minute for us because Fulton decided to jump off of our schedule. And it's obvious that you have clearly been dissing Alcoa. It's okay...you're not alone... You can just join everyone else in the Alcoa Hater's Club lol
  12. Only a fool would say Alcoa isn't one of the top teams in the state. And for the ones that claim we won't play BA or Ensworth, we actually called and they declined because it would be in Alcoa both years. The only team that would agree with the deal was Maplewood. As Alcoa continues to grow despite us being forced to move to 2A next year, we will definitely continue to be unstoppable in the future. Just imagine Alcoa with a 6A type enrollment count??? Unstoppable
  13. That moment where you realize that Fulton's only two wins ever against Alcoa were won by an average of 2.5 points. Alcoa's margin of victory against Fulton: 36.5 points lol Fulton's AD must've been pretty smart by voting Loudon out of the district. They knew that would force them off of Alcoa's schedule. Even in the years when Alcoa didn't win state, it wasn't even that close. But good try.
