  1. Drew had to do buisness with Carlos (founder of WACG) to get Tyger Campbell to move to TN to play for CPA. Don't get me started on how the WACG program is funded.
  2. The new CPA player kid Tyger Campbell from Iowa played with WACG program, the same program that was just recently suspended indefinitely from all AAU events for playing illegal players
  3. Jennings 69 carries 556 yards 13 TDs 81-134 1,464 15 TDs 2,020 all purpose yards 28 TDs Upton 71 carries 944 yards 15 TDs 57-97 1,128 12 TDs 2072 all purpose yards 27 TDs Numbers are pretty even to me Don't get me wrong, I know there's a huge difference between 3A & 5A teams. I've never said that Upton is better than Jennings. I stated that Upton should be thrown into the topic as one of the best QB's. Everyone is claiming Jennings is the best, Upton should be in the conversation along with him. That's all. Didn't mean to step on any toes. Please don't bring up politics when it comes to recuriting & rankings... Murfreesboro is controlling that like puppets. I'm done with this topic, I don't want to people to think I'm taking anything away from these players, because they're kids at the end of the day. They are both talented and deserve everything they've recieved. Good luck with the rest of your season Blaze. Hope you see you all in Cookville.
  4. 10-7? Really.... I doubt that. I can honestly say, last years game left a bad taste in East Nashvilles mouth. I'm sure young & up coming Coach Waite will have this boys fired up for Friday's game. East still has a lot to prove and isnt satisfied with the PC victory. 34-21 East Nashville
  5. Isiah Upton of East Nashville -8-0 record -2072 All Purpose yards -1128 passing yards -944 rushing yards -27 TDs -13.2 yards per carry
  6. Serious question, was it really Jennings 1st time ever playing QB last season?
  7. Blaze: I know you can say, well type it. That should be hard to type when Upton has more passing yards, rushing yards, and touchdowns in the last two season. Not to sure about that "Jauan Level". The only difference between the two is that Upton attends a metro school. Metro is looked at as a joke by colleges, rightful so. Murfreesboro is a hot bed for college coaches (all sports). Mainly because Boro has like 5 schools, and Metro has like 15+, including the private schools. That's another topic for another day though. Far as 247sports, I looked on Rivals (the more respectable source) were he's the #18 ATH. Jennings is a great player. One of the best in class of 2015. I'm not taking anything from him. By the numbers Upton has had the better career thus far. I'm not blowing smoke. These are facts.
  8. I'm not taken anything away from Jennings he's VERY talented. One of the best players if not the best player in TN. He's ranked as an ATH, that's why it's so ranked high. From what I've heard for the DB/S postion.
  9. That's probably why yal lost Friday cause your QB isn't a natural play maker. So why would you go and say that? I respect your choice, that's just the Pearl Cohn in you though.Numerous people (Including PC people) said after the game that Upton was the best player on the field Friday. I like you though, your a die hard PC fan. I respect that. Just be a realist.
  10. Difference between Vaughn and Davidson is that once Vaughn gets to the second level, he's not getting caught. Davidson will.
  11. Lennox McAfee from East Nashville has to be thrown into this topic.
  12. I've seen Jennings play & I've seen Upton play. Neither one is head and shoulders over each other. I'm not taking anything away from Jennings he's very talented & high major ATH for a reason but you can't discredit what Upton is doing because he attends a 3A school. I have compared, that's why I chimed in. You can't say Jennings is a better runner or thrower than Upton
  13. Definitely not your homeboy. We all know Jimmy has a rocket on his shoulder. We all know who's the better QB. That was obvious Friday night.
  14. This should be another good one. East Nashville is seeking revenge from last years game, and are even more confident after beating rival Pearl Cohn Friday. The referees won't decided this game like last years match up. #EagleNation
  15. MTSU commit Isiah Upton from East Nashville http://www.hudl.com/athlete/2657834/highlights
  16. Jimmy isn't even the best QB in his district. (Upton) He does a have VERY strong arm down field, his intermediate game is suspect. That showed Friday against EN. His only TD was a prayer running backwards off his backleg hanging in the air for a minute. His future is bright though. I know your a PC fan but don't let that keep you from being a realist. By the numbers Upton was better than Jennings last season. More TD's, more passing yards, and rushing yards. Numbers were far more better than his. Jennings was 1st team all state, Upton was third team all state. We all know metro doesn't get its deserved respect
  17. We spotted yal 14 lastnight. Two straight possessions inside the 10 yard line in the 1st quarter. (Bad snap & the interception) I can only remember one legit scoring drive for a Pearl lastnight were they drove the length of the field.
  18. Likewise FB, but East has the better team. Face it.
  19. Let me start off by saying that was the best high school football game I've ever attended. PC & EN gave the city of Nashville what they wanted to see tonight. Pearl Cohn & East Nashville are the only two teams that can bring the ENTIRE city out. This was one of those game that you would hate to see either team lose, because of how hard they fought. Both teams showed mental toughness, heart, and passion tonight. Good luck to PC with the rest of their season. East is just the better TEAM. This game lived up to all the hype/expectations. There were no losers tonight. Kids did a great job. #EagleNation
  20. Keshawn Vaughn from Pearl Cohn is the best running back in the state of TN. Hands down.
  21. Great district/rivalry game coming up Friday between these two teams. Wish both programs the best of luck. This is great for metro sports/schools. Friday's game is LOADED "inner city & homegrown" talent. 10 of the Pre Season Metro Top 25 players play for either PC or EN. Wow. Here is a list of players to watch for Friday's game (**Metro Top 25 Ranking) Vaughn (PC-TB-#14) **3 Upton (EN-QB/ATH-#2) **6 McAfee (EN-TB/DB-#10) **9 Groves (PC-WR/DB-#5) **22 Ferrell (PC-QB-#1) Cartwright (EN-OL/DL-#58) **18 Jordan (PC-LB-#9) **14 Douglas (PC-OL/DL) **7 Cothran (EN-OL/DL-#55) **25 Brown (EN-WR/DB-#1) Watkins (PC-S/WR-#23) **23 Cortnter (EN-S/WR-#3) Morris (PC-LB/FB-#18) Gordon (PC-S/WR-#2) **20 Trotter (EN-S/WR-#5) I'm sure I left a few players off, but you get the point. There are a lot talented players on the field Friday night, who deserve the exposure. Once again, wish both teams the best of luck & hope all players are injury free! Big night for the two programs. S/O to Vandy for giving these kids the spot light and opportunity to shine bright! Metro is making noise this season! Can't wait til Friday
