Bad football teams of the past. Anyone Coach Fox has coached. Currently Sullivan Central. Coached more years than has wins.

I talked to a man this morning who was at the scrimmage. He said DB won by a touchdown but Greeneville looked like the better team. Should be interesting to watch the new 6A group and see the men separate themselves from the boys.

Will DB ever contend for the state? No. Year after year they are one or two and out. Sort of like the field fillers in Nascar. But they do have a great band. Go Band!!

Coach Carter and Coach Clark are both good coaches. I know some of DBs asst coaches and I think Clark could do better there. However Coach Carter has surrounded himself with pure awesome asst coaches (Eads Nelson and Nelson). That's why SH is taking off and starting leave everyone in upper EastTN. However with that said the buck still stops at Maryville.

Central could only score 21 on S Greene. No way they will score 21 on Volunteer. That is unless I'm giving Volunteer way too much credit. I really think Volunteer needs some work, but Central needs a miracle.

Ok I got a good laugh with the "pulling a DB in the playoffs" We all know what that means. Anyway, this game will certainly be a shootout. Crockett had a good offense. But, Tennessee High 56 to 42.

This game is too close to call. Two great teams going to do battle. Should be fun to watch. The fans should really get their monies worth.

Should be a close game until it starts. Then volunteer wins big. Falcons will fly high in this one. Central has NO defense at all. Their offense is one dimensional which is hand off to #44. Volunteer has some depth and will out coach Central with ease.

DB, South or even Tennessee High isn't too far to drive from Blountville to get away from Fox, and those guys(d-co and D-co). Not to mention have you seen their field. My god its a cow pasture. Who can't afford grass seed? Anyway, these other schools should be thankful to Coach Fox. Sure? He and his staff is the reason all the great players leave Holston and head off to other schools. Those other schools picks up some really good kids each year because of it. One can't even call it a football program it's so ugly.

TEN HIGH 44. BOONE 14. no way this game will be close. Remember Boone v South. Yeah really bad. Well Boone is in for another one of those games.

Central is the worst team that has ever stepped foot on a football field. I know the kids are the ones playing but with the coaching staff on board up there, it's easy to see why they are so bad. Coach Fox knows nothing about football including the rules. The O coordinator couldn't play call a 3rd grade team. While the D coordinator curses the kids and degrades them 24/7. It's a wonder they even have enough kids to have a team. DB could score every time they touch the ball if they wanted to. If Coach Clark don't go to the 8th string this game could be 150 to 0 or more. Dear God have mercy on Central and their idiots they call coaches. DB rolls BIG and won't even break a sweat.

This week I choose to attend the DB v Tennessee High game. I think this will be the best game in the area to view. If Tennessee High goes with an air attack I give them the game by 7. If they go with the ground attack I give the game to DB's defense and DB wins by 14. Good luck to both teams I'm sure it will be a great game.

Well Fox and his staff has destroyed the program. It will take years to fix it. The parents in that community up there have got a good thing going with the youth football league and they are winning. The only way to keep it going is to get rid of Fox and All his staff and do it Now. Otherwise all the work the parents are putting in for the community will go to another community after Holston Middle.

Does anyone know how many yards passing each quarterback had? They both passed the ball well.

I would say Science Hill by 17. However TN High will score some points too. The Hills defense gives up some big numbers.

Can anyone explain why Sullivan Central continues to put up with the horrific coach (Fox) and his staff at Central? Seems this is why kids leave Holston Middle after their 8th grade year, and go to DB, South, TN High, North etc. Nobody wants their kids to play for Fox and frankly, one can't blame them. Until Central gets serious about Football, and hires a real football staff, its going to keep getting worse. If thats possible. On another note, after the game, Central did NOT have a homecoming dance. WOW, homecoming game and they canceled the homecoming dance for the students. They've really got it going on at Central. Maybe they should look at a new coach, new coaching staff and new principal. Its time for the parents of the upcoming football players in that district to stand up! With all that said, Coach Fox and his staff has got to go. Win a few football games and let the kids enjoy their high school experience. They only get one chance at it, then its over. Don't ruin it for them.

With no favor to either team, I came to Kingsport to watch what I thought would be the best game in the area on Friday night. I was not dissapointed. That was a great game to watch. Really a great game.
