Looks like Sparta can't handle the pressure laid out by Oakland.. Coach G had her lady Pats ready for the challenge..

Is boudin in foul trouble?

You really can't stop Bouldin, have to hope to contain her.. If they can do that and contain everyone else I see Pickett coming away with a win. With that being said, VB is a tough place for anyone to play and that crowd will have that gym rocking.. The VB girls tend to feed off high energy.. Still see Pickett coming away with a win but it's gonna be a battle til the end..

P.S.. No disrespect to Oakland at all. I've known Coach Jennifer Grandstaff since she coached at Moore County. Class act, great coach, well respected and always has her girls ready to play. Oakland is a great program with a winning tradition. I'm just simply saying white county is a hard place to play and they will have to play very well to win. white county has a huge advantage playing on their home wood with their home crowd roaring..

The murfreesboro schools go back and forth every year and beat up on one another. One year Oakland is stacked, the next it's riverdale, Siegal and Blackman. It's a revolving door.. Just depends on where the kids land as to who has the better team. Small town schools such as Sparta, cumberland county etc play the same kids from the time they are in grade school all the way to the top.. Same with Shelbyville in years past.. Ricky left and the program went down.. Coincidence? I think not. I'm not saying Blackman recruits or any of them for that matter, just saying it seems a little suspicious.. But in the grand scheme of it all, you have to beat the best to be the best.. Go Warriorettes!

I've been around high school basketball for years!! White county is a tough place, has a great fan base. Not to mention they are loaded with talent and can shoot from anywhere on the floor.. I'm not taking anything away from Oakland. They too are loaded with talent and a great coach. I just don't see them being able to come into Sparta and win. Don't get me wrong it's gonna be a great game but I think Sparta wins this one..

IMO Sparta wins this one with ease, especially on their home court.. Hope I'm right..

Thanks for the info, just curious how it was all determined.. Didn't know if meetings were involved or if it was revolving from year to year with each county hosting every 6th year..

Wow, what a game in white county tonight. Warren county put up a fight but ultimately lost by 1 point in double OT. Warren county's coach was given a technical with very little time on the clock and possession of the ball for being out of the coaches box. Warren county comes down for the tie, hits long range shot, one stripe says 3 the other says 2 and the 2 stood. Very intense game indeed!! Just got clarification, it seems a WArren player called timeout and got the T instead of the coach being out of the box T.

Listened to the DC LA game and wow what a game, wish I could have been there.. Big heart came outta the Lady Tigers tonight.. Ashley Chew was huge tonight.. Big props to the ladies and Coach Cope.. Heck of a win!! 30 years!
