Alcoa is coming to your house next week, Lions. Let's get ready to play some darn good football. Glad y'all beat Loudon tonight. They are overrated every year. They aren't ready for the next level yet. Hoping for a good game, no injuries, and nobody getting silly with their behavior. Let's GO!

Alcoa had 2 mediocre quarters with a new QB @ home against a team they have dismissed so many times its laughable. Yeah, they slept on GP in the first half, no excuses for that. They showed why they are 19-time State Champions once they woke up. It won't happen again. All due respect to Pearl Cohn. Great team, well-coached, and disciplined. I look forward to a great game if both our teams make it through next Friday against Milan and Red Bank. We beat PC 27-0 last year, but that has nothing to do with 2020. Here's to some great football the next 2 weeks.

When do you guys get Alcoa, Lions fans? Wondering what your win tonight meant for playoff placement. Loudon ran their mouths way too much last year. They left with a 56-0 beatdown in the semis. I feel like y'all will be way better than that. Congrats on the shutout tonight. If y'all come up here it will be a great game and look forward to seeing your athletes.

An observation from a lifelong Alcoa fan about DB. Y'all ALWAYS play us tough and have some of the best players and fans in the state. Much respect and appreciation to your fans and your program. That being said I think your coaches overthink this game every year. They try to be clever with clock management instead of just letting your players go out and play the game. Trying to keep the ball in your offenses hands by milking the play clock down to 1 second hasn't worked. Saving timeouts and not giving your TREMENDOUS athletes a breather hasn't worked. Alcoa always has great teams and are hard to handle, but I feel like y'all are RIGHT THERE if your coaches would just trust in their athletes. My humble opinion. I will always be glad for an Alcoa "W", don't get me wrong. Just know y'all got our respect and we see the talent. Look forward to seeing y'all next year @ Goddard.

Loudon gonna "build that wall" on Alcoa again this year? I hope we get 'em on Goddard Field in the playoffs. They never learn how to lose graciously. You'd think they would have by now.

DB folks have always been a class act with us Alcoa fans. I hope we have shown the same respect towards y'all. It should be a "slobberknocker" as always. Looking forward to seeing us go at it on Thursday. I like the tradition and passion you have for high school football. Let's get at it!

Good to see the sportsmanship tonight on both sides of the field. AE is young and they are in the right direction. Hope to see them competitive by the playoffs. I'm sure they will. Still, GO TORNADOES!

I hope y'all Redskin fans aren't too hopeful about getting past Alcoa in the semis if both teams make it. Y'all haven't played anybody yet. Harig is gonna spend a whole lotta time on his back in 2 weeks. Enjoy Round 3. Round 4 is gonna get ugly for y'all. Good season, though. 13-1 is a big accomplishment.

Upperman are the Milan/Goodpasture/CAK's of the mid 00's. They dominate their regular seasons and the first 3 rounds of the playoffs, only to have their dreams destroyed in the semis or championship game by Alcoa. If the Bees make it to Goddard Field they will leave extremely disappointed and wondering "what if" for 7 months. That's how it is and how it will be. That being said, I wanna meet all y'all and hang out. I sit on the 40 yard line 3 or 4 rows up right by the aisle.
