Peabody's lack of speed really affects our performance. It keeps us from making big stops or big plays. That's kills us. I wouldnt say we ever quit though. Dresden and Union City will be one heck of a matchup! Mark it down.

It will be a game I listen to! I think they will be pretty even. It ought to be the game of the week when they meet up.

Lol! Well I'd NEVER take a dig at another field if it wasn't warranted. I took pics last year at playoffs to show how bad the line painting was. It was that bad. I've seen some line painting go viral... I'm fairly certain that Dresden's last fall could've done the same if the right folks had of shared it.

I've learned to bite my tongue before a game. It doesn't do much good to talk it up. It's hard to predict any High School football game on a Friday night. The teams you think are unbeatable suddenly are... That's the fun of Friday nights! I'll sure be there tomorrow night... and as I've stated before.. I sure hope the line painters' paint the lines before they hit the bottle tomorrow night. Though y'all sure gave us a good laugh last year with the lines!!! 😂

Well, I must say when I saw that Dresden chose Peabody as your homecoming day, I was a bit shocked. I understand beating us would make for a sweet homecoming victory, but I don't see us laying down quite so easily. It's a gamble for sure, and I like the idea! It will make for a fun game no doubt!!! Peabody is growing and learning and improving every week on working together as a team. After losing so many seniors last year, we truly are a new team. We've spent our first weeks coming into our own. We had sloppy mistakes against Union City. That score should've been much closer than it was, but penalties held us back. I believe this Friday night... we shall have us a ballgame! Get ready, Lions! There will be a clash of Black and Gold come Friday! I do have one question until then... Will your line painters be sober this year as opposed to the playoff game last fall? Seriously not trying to take too big a dig at y'all, but those lines were a bit off last year. All in all though... looking forward to a great game next Friday!

Wow. Way to go Vikings for staying with them. I've got to admit that when I thought to check the score on here, I wasn't quite expecting to see it so close. It goes to show that you never know what will happen on any given Friday night in High School football. From my skimming, I take it UC had a key player or 2 out?

BigSwo, I have no doubt we will be a fun ball game come November! I had so much to learn when we played y'all 2 weeks ago. I've kept my mouth shut until I watched a few games to see our skill level. I have no kids that play... So it takes me a minute to watch us to see where we're going. I truly feared Union City... And no we didn't play well, but that game showed me that we could hang! That game should've been much closer... No doubt! The tide aren't rolling over and quiting just yet! Watch and see... We're here and proud and learning every play we make! I can't wait to see the experience we have come November! Game on!

I've kept fairly quiet so far this season just waiting to see what the Tide has in store. Man are we growing! Change is coming! Don't judge us by Milan or Union City! We've got more than we showed with them. Trenton Opponents, you shall see! Start planning now. It isn't over for the tide! You shall see, no doubt! Roll Tide!

I can't say for certain how this game will turn out after the talent we lost this last year. However I have full faith in that our coaches will have our boys ready to the best of their ability. It will be a fun rivalry game no doubt. I'm going to say Roll Tide here, because that's who I'll be rooting for!

What justice? Peabody beat Dresden because we played a good game. Y'all lost last Friday just like we lost tonight. There's no justice to be served. It's how high school football playoffs go! Y'all lost. We lost. I'm not going to make excuses for our loss. We were meant to play tonight, but that doesn't mean we should've won. And had Dresden played NCS like you played us last week, then y'all would be hanging your heads tonight. Even on Dresden's best night, I doubt y'all could hang with the NCS team we saw tonight. It is what it is. Move on! The only 1A teams that matter right now are NCS and Greenback. Let's be adults about this and move on to support the last 2 teams standing. Besides, there's no reason to hold a grudge against Peabody. You guys will have a great year next year. I'm adult enough to admit it, so please be adult enough to move on from any game played this year.

We got beat by a better team tonight. Our defense wasn't playing up to snuff to say the least. I'm proud of our boys though. They never gave up. NCS bring home that Gold Ball in honor of your fallen teammate - MM7!!! Y'all played a good game tonight.

The NCS folks are all very nice and respectable. When we entered the field, the nice ticket holders explained where the concessions and restrooms were. They were very hospitable. Also, the field looks very good! The line painters sure did a better job than Dresden last week. So with all that said.... ROLL TIDE!!!!

Haha! As a Vols fan I still have trouble. But since it's in the spirit of Peabody, I know Bama doesn't have anything to do with it. So in that sense, I can say Roll Tide! lol Looks like the rain will hold off until after the game, so you ought to be good! In this case I'm glad the game is in Nashville, because West TN looks like it will be pretty wet.

Yes, we lost 39-0 then beat them 35-14. When we met Dresden the first time, we did not have Malone playing QB. He was on the field, but our back up QB played that game. When Malone had some issues in the classroom, the Coach took away his QB position. He had to earn that leadership position back. He only touched the ball a few times. With kids not playing their regular positions, it really threw the entire team off. Once the team got back into place again, they started firing on all cylinders and caught their playoff spark. Will this game be broadcast on the radio at all? I have family that want to listen. Or is it just the subscription deal online?

Well something is still amiss. It's much too quiet even if it is Thanksgiving week. I sense worry in the air.

We're not open enrollment at all. We have set school zones throughout this county. There is no choice.
