  1. Don't promise yourself a gold ball too soon. Peabody and Union City will both have tough teams next year as well.
  2. Probably another game for Jacob Taylor to get some experience.
  3. I have never seen something in single A ball before that I saw tonight. I have never seen a single A team swap out their ENTIRE O-line in the middle of a long drive. When the first one is starting to get tired they just bring in fresh guys to finish the drive against a tired D-line. I was amazed at that.
  4. Saw him throw about 60yds without a problem in a 7 on 7 the other day.
  5. Look obviously he ain't gonna give you a yes or no answer. What I can tell ya though is you can't say cause they have a couple of big boys they recruit. Have you seen some of the boys in our turnip patch that will be comin across to the high school in about 3 years? If you are gonna call out someone for recruiting, you gotta have more than that. So like he said get more to stand on or drop it. Please.
  6. 8 didn't get to play when we played union city. He got in trouble at school that day and was suspended from football for 10 days. So he had practiced all week and coach had game planned with him in the mix as tailback and linebacker. then all of a sudden he was out. Pretty sure 8 learned his lesson.
  7. The big question is, "Is Union City rebuilding or reloading?"
  8. I watched some of the middle school games. We have a group of 7th graders that seem to be a lot like the juniors this year when it comes to speed and athleticism including a lefty QB that can fly. In fact I think a coach told me about 10 started throughout the year. Then from what I hear the group of 6th grade linemen are all between 180 and 200 and can move well for their size. Be ye warned single A.
  9. Our defense didn't get much credit all year, but they sure stepped up today when the offense was shut down and the second half. The Jacobs factor with the Woods factor was just too much for MC.
  10. We have scored 42 the last 3 games so my prediction will be Peabody-42 Marion County-30.
  11. Rain equals wet jerseys. Which equals little quick tidemen slippin away from tacklers.
  12. I think this one will stay close until half, but see Peabody doing the same to Marion County that they have done in all of the playoff games and that's dominating the second half.
  13. Based on our record. If you can hold us under 30 and out score us in the second half then yes, BUT that's a whole lot easier said than done. Ask any school we have played.
  14. Yea. You don't hold Huntingdon, TCA, Mckenzie and Adamsville all combined to 40 second half points without a defense. That's 5 points a quarter.
  15. Yea. You don't hold Huntingdon, TCA, Mckenzie and Adamsville all combined to 40 second half points without a defense. That's 5 points a quarter.
  16. I double checked with numbers online. You were very close, but all four games combined it's 127-Peabody to 40-playoff opponents in the second half. Huntingdon-28 scored 6 allowed. TCA-35 scored 20 allowed. McKenzie-28 scored 0 allowed(starters didn't play after 10 min left in 3rd quarter. And the Adamsville- 36 scored 14 allowed.
  17. Dang, I knew it was a lot, but didn't realize it was that much.
  18. Only 2 teams has held Peabody under 30 points. That was Milan an Union City. Only 3 teams have held them under 40 points. None of those have been in the playoffs. Does anyone know an average point difference of points gained and points allowed Peabody has had in the second half of games this year?
