only thing bad about this district it just has 5 teams, I think that hurts it compared to 6A and 8AA.

Totally agree, great high school basketball players, no doubt. some of the best fundamental game skills you will see. Give credit where credit is due for sure. Just don't think CR could beat Loretto or Greenfield.

Sparta lookin sharp if they can stay organized offensively and defensively they should be fine.Stone lookin great ,guard play has improved to assist the twin towers. Rhea undefeated better than most think ,will be the spoiler of this district. Cookeville lookin good ,if they can get their line-up fixed ,correct girls on the court, watch out! Warren County keep workin to get better for the future yrs to come. pre district play assessment.

Not so sure, go back 9 months switch coaching staffs not so sure if Rankin doesn't win. I see more possible D1 talent on Pearl Cohn side, Alcoa has way more heart and grit which comes from leadership .

Pearl Cohn stopped tryin first series when they got punched in the nose. Put Rankin at Pearl Cohn, let him recruit a little bit get some of them "magnet kids" and he would win state titles in Music City no doubt.

Lack of Coaching eventually surfaces, it is evident tonight. Alcoa is good and great coaching. Pearl Cohn just beats normal teams with talent. Alcoa not normal.

8AA is like playing in the Sec (so to speak),anything can happen especially #2 thru-say#6.

Meigs has tougher road they have 8AA middle tn sectionals to go thru,Grainger will have a somewhat easier path to glass house. At the Glass house draw and match ups become huge unless just way better than everyone.

Guess you can say , you don't like Meigs coaching. I think state champ will come.from Middle Tn or West Tn. I am studyin up on Grainger,though.
