Here is my assessment. Sparta lost the leader point guard average close to 20 points a game plus she complimented all the others and your big girls returning. Those type players don't come around often,like Kellie jolly if you will. coaches can't coach leadership that is inside the heart of the leader,that is probably what is lacking. Take off the rose colored glasses and support your coach and school. The point guard position is your quarterback. Take last year point guard off last years team and Sparta would have been average at best.put her on this year's team and u would be district champs again. and no Haley did not develop her she developed herself through hard work and aau. You can't compare last year to this year players change as do the dynamics of the team.

Upperman and Livingston "Busch league" has already thumped Warren so at least you should finish ahead of Warren so Sparta "NASCAR " should at least not finish last..lol

Not the same Blackman team,graduated a few just like Sparta. . Different year different teams. Last year is last year this year is this year.

Thinking this year 3 to 4 losses possibly more will win you the district , I predict every game will be tight .. should be exciting year..

Sparta bigs match up with clarkrange bigs.will come down to guard play,with clarkrange young in guards will give edge to sparta. Goin with white county on this one in close one

Coach Brown is Jackson county strength. . Macon not that good but coach Brown is ,beat Cookeville last night.

Good players make great coaches . Good coaches win with average tallent. No tallent I don't care how good of coach you are you won't win. Sparta is average tallent with a good coach and they are winning and should have no problems except crossville in 6aaa

York is better than Cookeville and Warren don't know bout rhea county sayin 8 aa is "Bush league" is weak and clueless. I think sparta,Livingston upperman, clarkrange,Jackson county,pickett,crossville could beat each other on any given night,so sayin 6aaa vs 8aa be bush league vs NASCAR is crazy.

Well so basically since Sparta is so great, in such a tough district ,they shouldn't play down against local upper Cumberland teams with low enrollments. Then schedule farraguts Maryville Baylor so u can be prepared. Whatalosser? York's coach lost the game better be glad she stalled. .

Sparta has an excellent coach in dodgen he will get the best out of his team. He proved that in 8 aa at cannon.

According to the pre season predictions Smith county finishes toward the bottom in 8 aa..

Can somebody explain the situation this game has on region standings. If the U wins they are number 1. and Dekalb #2?? Squatch#3?? or vice versa? If Squatch wins then what happens? How would it rank for playoff seeding? and what is the seeding for the other region ? teams rank? that this region is paired against?
