Absolutely. Like most people I see PC making it next year. Can't imagine anybody ever counts out Milan. The memphis schools played very well in Cookeville this year. So anything could happen.

Liberty has plenty of talent but still fell short of beating Alcoa. Trez can hang with and beat a lot of 3A teams in the state. I just don't think they could pull off that upset. We may get our chance to see this match up next year.

Outside of the region Alcoa is in how many other regions in 3A have won titles?

Trez is loaded with talent but the size and strength of Alcoa would be too much.

You brought up Moorehead as if he would've dominated Bentwood Academy but he couldn't slow down White House. The 96 Melrose team was good but not anywhere near BA.

White House blocked him pretty well when they beat Melrose the next year.

I'd like to watch this game on TV. Two great programs from different states makes football fun.

Nobody in this state, BA/MBA excluded, want any part of south Alabama. Best high school football in the country. The 5A and up teams have several SEC recruits on both sides of the ball. Different world down there.

Why doesn't PC have more championships? Over the last 20-25 years they've consistently had as much or more talent than every team in the state. Yet only 2 Gold Balls. Besides the back to back titles they struggled to win games in the 90's. Athletically they're way ahead of teams that have won multiple titles since 1997.

Oakland has seen team speed. I promise you that much. Rutherford County is swarming with speed. It'll be a good game

I think waverly can slow down the run. Doubt too many teams can stop it. Trez looks to be too fast for waverly on defense. Not sure they can consistently move the ball. If trez doesn't turn it over they should win. I wouldn't be shocked to see an upset though. Waverly is solid on defense.
