I think this is the weakest 1a field in a while but Clarkrange is really good. I think Pickett may win it. Seems to hve been lots of injuries that hve hampered teams across the State and some really talented teams just play soft.

Perry was ranked too high all yr. Played a handful of teams that didn't win 5 games and played in the weakest 12a district in YEARS!! Community beat them tonight without their 2nd best player who rolled an ankle vs Houston. They lead Houston when that happened in Region Finals.

Pickett will be favorite next yr in my opinion. No Srs and may win it this yr.

Have you seen Houston Co?? They are not as good as Pickett or Clarkrange. I realize 1A is really down but they are not the #2 team in the state.

So we have parents / fans sending in game footage to TSSAA?? And players getting on a message board to defend themselves. Players need to play... Fans need to cheer. Keep it simple. Don't worry about message boards or refs. Can't control either.

Weakest Region 6A tourney in a long time. Injuries hurt Collinwood and Clifton and 12a was down anyways. 11a is simply a very weak league. 12a won't stay down long.

Playing in 10 tournaments. Leave email if interested. Coaches are middle school and high school coaches. Planning on trips to Atlanta and Orlando along with 8 Tn Tournaments.

Sounds like they should or the TSSAA should actually have more than 1 eligibility form distinguishing between V and JV which they do not. There is no longer even a 6 qtr limit. You can play a kid 8. Melton played 5. Most coaches don't care who people play and are for the kids so it's a non issue until parents complain after losing a game and don't understand why a kid would be given the chance to play extra minutes which is what JV is for.

TennTwin you might wanna call TSSAA before you go spouting off rules and claiming a violation. TSSAA takes 1 eligibility form for HS basketball. They do not hve separate forms or identification for JV-V. Just got off phone with Gene Meneese and he says there is zero issue with a starter playing in a JV game much less only playing in 1 qtr of the jv game like Melton did. Melton had a serious ankle injury and is working back in to lineup. Once again, NO VIOLATION per TSSAA.
