I'm sure people were saying the same thing about Tiffany Woosley after a storied career at Shelbyville Central under Insell and under Summit with the Lady Vols. Obviously Hudson had a good playing careerjust saying let her learn as a Coach without all this hoopla. I don't know anyone not cheering for her.

Looking way too much into it. Hudson was a good high school basketball player and it will be interesting to see how good of a HS basketball coach she is. Let us know how many players attend her school out of zone. I'm guessing not very many at all. Good lucky to Kayla.

Joel Ayers is the new coach at Dyersburg so she won't be coaching there.

Hickman Co is a mess right now. Not saying this coach is a good hire or not but I doubt very seriously he wanted to stay in Hickman County.

The Coach deserves a second chance but Lebanon is getting a guy who has never built a program nor left a program in good shape. Basically a .500 coach other than 3 yrs at Riverdale. And took a team with multiple division 1 signees as Seniors to a region tourney loss. Be very interesting and Lenanon didn't have much to choose from.

Barrett's father in law is on board in Wilson.

I do not see Lebanon doing this. I think they may go with someone already on staff. Not many applicants for this job.

Who ends up at Montgomery Central?

Coach Barrett is a good coach. The team he inherited was loaded. Not many coaches wouldn't have done same thing. He has 1 State Tourney on his resume. Also had TN and Clemson signees as SRs that failed to make it out of a Region Tournament. I agree he should be given opportunity to coach again and would be a good hire at Dickson.

Principal still wants Barrett. Tipps never even applied wants to build at Stone. Board wants Eves Daughter. Not sure out of State guy has been offered. Good job for someone but seems to be a mess.

That 97 Perry County team plays in the Finals tomorrow vs Mitchell. Haston became a high 1st rd pick by the Hornets. Jones would hve signed with Arkansas if he had had the grades. They had depth and size and the best PG in 1a that yr with the late Cory Brown who would hve been a heckuva NAIA player. Had some high flying wings on that team as well. Jones gets overlooked. 6'6 and dunked and made 3's. Anyone that doesn't think he and Haston dont dominate today is nuts.

Maddox will not make a habit of beating anyone that he doesn't have more talent than but he will occasionally lose to Teams with equal or less. Surprised at how bad they defend as far as being able to stay in front of people and lock the opponent up. Rely on ability to turn over inferior teams. Definitely not a coach that takes his team to another level. Give him credit.. Maybe he realizes his limitations as a coach and that's why he must get the best players instead of developing and scheming.

Franklin County had Latina Davis ( Tennessee ) and LaTonia Johnson ( Memphis ) and a Limbaugh kid that I believe went to UT-Martin and were ranked Nationally. Moore County lost In the Finals to Bradford and had a player go on to become 3 time OVC player of the yr at Tn Tech, and guards that went on to play at UT-Martin and Lipscomb. That's a lot of talent on a 1a team. That team from Clarksville a couple of yrs ago with 4-5 D1 kids including Graves (Tennessee) was loaded but not very well coached and got bounced in State Qtrs.

Maybe to play against better competition?? Look at Moore Counties out of league schedule... WEAK.

Haven't seen Middleton play since losing Faulkner. They have her and I agree, they would be hands down best team in 1A. Pickett will have a great shot next yr.

South Greene. Community takes a lot of bad shots.. South Greene could be sleeper in the Tournament.

Clarkrange is 6'4 6'0 6'0 Around 2 small guards.

Been a long time since there have been zero 12 A teams at State.
