Fingers are crossed! We got rained out at the Riverdale Tourny and don't want that to happen this weekend. Keep us posted.

Is there a web site that has info on this tourny? How is the rain going to effect the schedule?

Yes we do have faith. In our boys to finish strong and our coach to motivate and coach the boys and this team. Coach Hawks year after year puts winning teams on the field and is the reason why Murfreesboro baseball is what it is.

Oakland is struggling right now. Hitting, pitching, and fielding is not there right now like is was before the season started. I am confident the guys will rebound and right the ship. They have no where to go but up from here. Maybe an out of town weekend tourny is just what the guys need to relax and play ball and get things going again. They definetly have the talent and can put is together for a strong finish. How about it guys are you up for the challenge? I believe you are!!! Lets play Oakland baseball this weekend.

Oakland is probaly in the top two behind mt. juliet. but if oakland makes it to the championship well see who wins. Go Oakland!

Marcus Barnes from Oakland in for real. He has the speed, the arm, and the bat for a complete package. He transfered from Blackman this year and is not able to play till late in the year. Drew Fann, Tyler Burnett, Andy Berg, PJ Polk, Brennan Stender, and Eric Renfroe are all players who are experienced and strong in their positions and all have the capabilities to play at the next level.

Warren missed a grand slam by a few feet foul down the right field line. they did hit the ball well, defense looked pretty good. Pitching was good from Bowman, stender had to pitch out of some trouble. oakland plays 2 games saturday we'll see if they can keep the bats going and see if pitching can step it up.

these guys have plenty of talent for several years to come. the sophmore class is loaded: drew fann, pj polk, tyler burnet, brennan stender, marcus barnes, eric renfroe, andy berg to name a few this team will challenge for the state! These guys have played together for a long time and play well
