Great game tonight for the Lions. They played team ball and it showed what this team can do if and when they put it together. Let's keep it going on Monday and get this motor primed for the tournament. So proud of these seniors. They have been leaders on and off of the court. I have had the honor of watching number 5 since he was in 5th grade. I can tell you it is amazing seeing him grow up into the young man that he is. Not only what he does on the court but more importantly the way he lives his life. Go Lions!!!!!

Tomorrow night is senior night. The guys have have shown up and produced at times. They have to pull together now as team now. Tomorrow and Monday can set them up for second place heading into the tournament. I believe they can. It is time for the the guys to play there role. Now is the time to decide if they want to be popular and famous for one game or do they want to be champions the talent is there is the heart? Go lions !!!!!!!!

Good win for the Lions last night. In advance I am a fan no expert on basketball. So watching the boys last night against Jackson Christian it is obvious the Lions have the talent to make a deep run in the state. But IMO the boys are not mentally there. They are not putting teams away when they have the chance. They are haveing mental lapses on defense and ball control. Also seems to be at crucial times some players are looking to just score to pad their stats rather than pulling the ball out and setting up a play. These are all correctable. Friday night will be the perfect game to put it all together. IMO I believe the boys will come together and play a complete team game and will defeat Middleton. Good luck Lions

It does not help also when the school passes out cards for comments on their coaches. Heck I don't know of any teenager that is real pleased with authority. Heck if Marley held the kids accountable then the kid would not be happy. And if the kid is not happy them mom and dad are not happy. At least that is what the paper said that they passed out cards I do not know for sure. But to me it leads to an intitlement to a kid that does not know how the authority figure might be trying to them to grow in ways to be man more than a football player. If they indeed pass out cards to grade the coaches, then it would set up any coach. But then again I am going by what I read. I will say this, if I passed out cards to my three boys tonight to grade me I would be fired right now on the spot because I made them go to bed.

Telling him he can stay and teach is a joke in itself. A man coaches that long for a school, they knew he would not stay for a teaching position.

I sure wish we were like all of the other private schools with all of these advantages and just keep rolling on. Seems we are that rare breed private school. No advantages and no talent. . Y'all are right. We will suck next year. Everyone was right this year we lost everyone the year before and we sucked this year. I think we will just shut football down and concentrate on tennis. We have one of the best boys tennis player in the state as a freshman so we may just go that direction.

TCA will be fine I believe the 6th man as a guard will not be a threat on offense but I believe he will be able to frustrate the third guard of any team on defense. Then I will take the odds of 2 on 2 in guard play. IMO i do think that the substitution situation that TCA try's to do needs to change. This is a game of rhythm and flow. If you take out the starting 5 for another 5 they can not get in a flow. Sometimes it takes a few turnovers and getting up and down the court to figure out what it is going to take in the second half of a game. Plus when it comes to tournament time then the starting five are not used to playing a whole game. Starting 5 then the next best 3 and run with it. But I am not really a basketball guy. I might be wrong.

. You should understand. You know one kid goes to USJ it is hooray Bruins. Another kid goes to TCA then it's go Lions. The man is supporting his team now. If it changes I hope he supports his new team.

now this is a legit post with insight. Not just remarks about how one player went down and the team crumbled. And also how the fans went oh no not again when that one player went down. I love Northside. My family all went to Northside and Red has a cannon. I hope he gets a chance at the next level. And I know no one has been on a Northside thread saying anything negative about your team. TCA again was not a one man team. That would be like saying the Chicago bulls were a one man team with MJ. Was he a big part yes but it was the team that won 6 titles. TCA was a team. They could not have made it to the semi finals with out Goldsmith. But also they could not have made it to the semi finals with out any one of the other seniors. Leadership transcends any rushing yards or tackles.
