  1. I gotta ask, which team in the past 5 years are better?
  2. They have both played Peabody and would love to hear from some of their fans who’ve seen both teams. If those score mean anything then JCS has the upper hand.
  3. How much can be taken from the games against Peabody? JC dominated across the board. I believe the USJ score was 1 TD difference. Thoughts?
  4. I thought it was a pretty good matchup. Both teams were able to move the ball and score but I know JC was without their best player, Mosley. Not sure what that would have done for them on the offensive side of the ball bit it definitely wouldn't have hurt. Best of luck to the Chargers in 2023!
  5. Jackson Christian hosts Northpoint Christian. It was a close game at their place last year, hopefully the Eagles get off to a quick start this year!
  6. Any thoughts on how this game will go? I don't believe they have any common opponents yet and are both coming off cupcake games last night.
  7. Obviously, my prediction was WAY OFF! There are still plenty of games to play, some of which will present real challenges but the Bucs are definitely up from the past few years and with Rankin, I believe they have a chance to get back to previous times where they were competitive year in and year out.
  8. Predicting a bloodbath with the Bucs coming out victorious!
  9. There is a really talented WR at Jackson Christian in A. Last year as a freshmen he put impressive numbers and I believe has Lane Kiffin calling. Jay'len Mosley WR/RB, CB - 6'1" - 190lbs So.
  10. Pretty sure the QB was out with illness/exposure/quarantine. Would be interested in seeing how the game may have looked different but that is the way it goes. Plenty of positives though from the game, none more than a freshman QB throwing for over 300 yards and a couple td's. Obviously the interceptions really hurt but for a young kid like that to come in and play against that level of competition is a positive. I have heard from a number of folks around the program and other coaches who have seen him mention that he may be one of if not the best to come through BBS. Time will tell. Defense looked to be tough and still lots of skill players to make plays. Hopefully the QB situation works out in Boyd's favor. Davidson is a great team and if not playing in the middle division might be the district champion in the east or west...not sure anyone has a shot at competing with Lipscomb or CPA.
  11. Davidson is reloading and they have a legit back. They are much better than Greenback and will be a true test for the Bucs. I have watched them play in west TN over the past few years in Div IIA and they have had the athletes to play with many of the teams in Div IIAA. Hoping the Bucs get a win but don't think it will be nearly as easy as last week.
  12. Looks like the only common opponent thus far is Brainerd. Can anything be taken from those 2 games in giving some insight to how Boyd matches up with Marion Co?
  13. Listening to it the game on WGOW-Am and it sounds like the Bucs are playing lights out, hope they can keep it up. Not sure how well the offense is playing but special teams and defense sound strong.
  14. I would say your pretty close on this one but I am not sure Adamsville is better that Tyner, Boyd or Grace. I know Hardin Co. is good (Adamsville's loss) and they have a great running QB but they weren't even competitive in that game.
  15. I have no clue what they have returning from last year but the record the posted against last years schedule wasn't bad at all. I'm hoping the Bucs don't overlook KA. I'm hoping to them live as an undefeated team playing against Marion Co. at the swamp in a couple weeks.
