Well looks like I did pretty good on my early predictions,but the pioneers from Rutledge were suprising this year, congrats to the players and coaches,you both done a good job, now on to the district and region. Who will be the two teams in this region to make the region, my guess is that any of the top 5 have a good shot.

I think the difference in coach CFox team this year was the addition of assistant coach Tony Patterson, he may be the master mind behind all of this.

So how good is the CG and SG, any comments.

Who are the teams to beat in this district.

So did Rutledge play yesterday,I know that CG beat SG on tues LIKE 10- 12. How do you all think Rutledge and the SG game will go today or do you think that they will even get to play because of wet conditions. I also heard PF beat CD the other day 4-1. Is their no one on here from SG or Union to give us some info.

DOES ANYOE KNOW WHAT HAPPENED OR WAS IT ALL RAIN OUTS AND WHO PLAYS TOADY AND WHERE.Sorry for the caps. I think Rutledge is too young to do it now, but maybe the have alot of talent. They are off to a good startbut what about their new coaching staff, will it have any effect on their team. Will they be better or worse with the new coaches coming in.

It depends on the kid and their work ethic.

Just wandering where the Story kid is on the Pats pitching rotation, I' guessing he ie their 2 or 3 but he pitched lice he was their ace against Rutledge,and the catcher the Boling kid is anyone looking at him he is a great player.

I hear Union a close game with Washburn.

Who are the teams to beat in this district, I heard that Pigeon Forge was the early favorite, but I heard they got beat by Rutledge 5-0 and the Nicely kid threw a no no is this correct. How is SG, CG, & CD doing so far and who are some of ther best players in the district. And what about all the new coaches at Union , Rutledege, Claiborne: did anyone else get new coaches. Is Coach Hamilton still at Cumberland Gap.

KevB, seems to me that you resigned from the wrong post. You are a good journalist and ther are nothing wrong wit your post on here, you give great information. But, you should not downgrade any of the coaching staff at Rutledge High School if you are going to be their sports information director, you should be applauding them and lifting them up. Maybe you should resign as the SID, but that is your decision.

How will the pioneers fair this year especially since they have their basketball players back.
