Honestly the refs were bad both ways. While some of the PI calls were good calls, a couple of them weren't, especially the ones on my son (#7). Lol

WB has a good QB and some very good receivers. Their running game was almost nonexistent last night but that could be due to losing their starting running back early. I did not realize he was out. They also need to get better on defense. Our running back had over 260 yards and 4 TDs.

I will ha e to watch the film but I think the kid was in bounds and extending his arm for the ball when our defender hit him. I could be wrong. I hope he's ok.

There were some late hits on both sides. I didn't see anything wrong with the tackle on your running back.

Randy Rodgers (sp?) is the AD at Jeff County. We are 3-1 but to be completely honest, we have played some very mediocre teams besides Bearden. We have been pretty good on defense but our offense struggles to throw the ball. Our RB Kris Hawkins is outstanding. I hope JCHS can keep it close but I have a feeling the Admirals will pull away in the 2nd half.

Who wins the region if we end up with a 3 way tie for first place tomorrow?

That doesn't sound right. Jeff County lost to Bearden, HVA, and MW. I guess that would leave a HVA, Bearden, MW, and Jeff County all with 2 wins and Jeff County would have a win against the highest ranked team in the region due to their wins over SH and DB. It a long shot at best.

That's what a coach is supposed to do, take the blame for his team not playing well. Every team has players out, including Jeff County.

LOL! Last night was a great win for Jeff County but I doubt that DB is scared. Hopefully, Jeff County can make a game of it.

I am kicking myself for not going to the JC vs SH game tonight. My son just had ACL surgery last week and didn't want to stand on the sideline. I don't blame him but the wife and I should have went anyway.

How does WB run three plays in three seconds? How do they spike the ball twice and only have second down? It wasn't the officiating crew's finest effort tonight.

Jeff County looks terrible. They are playing way too soft and are missing way too many tackles. WB might just get their first win of the season tonight.

I will be happy if we go 1-7 the rest of the way as long as that one is against MW.
