GQ can make it happen. Ellis as HC, Hunt and Nix as coordinators. It would be like GQ still pounding the naders for three more years and not even being there! Ellis retires, Rankin gets ran off, Hunt and Nix heroes of Blount Co. Just woke up.

Nix leaving would open the HC job at Alcoa quicker.

Just making a wish list. Hunt for offense, Nix for defense. Ellis running the show for a few years.

million dollar question is why the kids quit? I guess if we are assuming that shad has support of the administration it was all on the kids. IMO a mass exodus like that should be of concern to the administration. Shad has been their long enough to have weeded out the bad apples before the Oakland game. Just another perspective from a Blount County fan.

Every time Shad does an interview it comes up that he is trying to keep the kids at WB to play. 30+ players quit before the last game. Wouldn't be surprised that some of those players show up on a city team. Should give coach Shad some excuses and interview material for next year. Hope Shad stays at WB for awhile he'll surpass some of the top recruiters in the city by losing half his team every year!

4,7,21,28&99 barely left the field last night. Da Haven took advantage and took home the gold ball. Your primary running back playing lb all night. Bad coaching.

Defense for both sides played great! Oakland had to many players playing both sides of the ball. It showed when the game was on the line.

Have had family play for both. Both are in college freshmen and soph. One playing ball and one not. neither have graduated, but they are there and would be the first on my side to graduate if they do! Agree with SX different styles but some same results!
