I can't see them getting to Rice consistently. Not as if he needs it, but I think Rice has a career defining game in front of the hostiles. I think the key for WC will be getting a few key early stops and getting out in front.

I think most teams have to sell out to get pressure and it depletes their coverage. When you find a team that can accomplish both, the pressure is extremely effective. Be interesting to see if HHS can get good pressure without bringing the house.

One last question. You're saying UC 15 was better than UC 14? Best team they had in 5 years?

So let me get this straight. Unprovoked, the chain guy turned around and taunted your fans. I've always considered you to be one of the good ones on here but if you tell me your fans, in particular the four guys standing at the fence handled themselves well that night, my opinion will change. Your players and coaches were great that night. Your fans (some of them) left a lot to be desired. Inability to be honest about what happened doesn't make it true.

You are the eternal optimist. The combined scores of the games referenced was 159-20. You won't just need yards, you'll need to finish drives, and several of them. But yes, there is a chance.

I hope both teams meet at full strength. Neither team has won a big game in the last few years when playing a big time opponent at full strength. All those stats against inferior competition (which is 80-90% of the games) means little when the whistle blows on that big night. It will definitely be a game you don't want to miss.

Union City would have had the best chance of beating NCS, beyond a shadow of a doubt. UC's running game is on another level. Whether it be athletes or scheme, no other 1A run game gives their team a better chance to win week in week out than UC. Keep in mind I'm talking about when top teams play top teams, not the garbage stats put up against inferior competition. Others may try to compare their version of the veer to that which is run at UC. There is no comparison.

Why is that. Just curious.
