  1. Henry County has its way with the Devils. Too much fire power and confidence right now for them to handle. Add the Patriot Stadium advantage of +7. Final score HC 38 Gtown 14
  2. There ya go. The Yanker has spoken. All speculation over, boys
  3. This defense is very similar in the fact that when their backs are against the wall, they rise to the occasion.
  4. Difference is that 2011 had three #99's on the front line. Dunlap, Long and Kendall. And Racer is correct, That secondary would rather knock your head off than get a pick.
  5. Not quite the defense of 2011, if you ask me. No one scored over 14 all season and post-season and that was mostly against the JV. Tough to match that front 7. They held Ridgeway scoreless almost the whole game in the quarterfinals and the Roadrunners had 6 or 7 D-1 players on offense that year. And trying to impeach Trump will ONLY make the GOP stronger! Just my two cents.
  6. Patriots post the shutout. The Knights don't score on the JV either. 54-0
  7. I did. Two special teams scores and a pick 6.
  8. HC 54 to 7. CHS gets a late score on JV Defense
  9. The Patriots beat the best of the remaining region teams by 35 this week. Now we know why the coaches schedule tough non-region foes.
  10. This will be a Yawner...Wake me up for the post-season.
  11. Easy...big fella, the last decade of dominance that the Patriots have displayed by the product put on the field is enough to verify our program's superiority. No need to get our feathers ruffled by someone whose main goal is to try to get that very result. Where is "facts only" when you need him? I'll throw a fact out there until he wakes up. Since 2006 Henry County has been to six semi-finals and won 3 of them. Oh yeah, and two state championships.
  12. Patriot Stadium is a +7 alone for H.C. That being said, the Patriot defense keeps them in it and they pull it out in the closing seconds. Henry County's kicker nails a 42 yarder to make up for the miss at Beech. Final score H.C. 22 Brentwood 21
  13. The Man, the Myth, THE LEGEND!!! LONG LIVE THE YANKER!!!!
  14. If the ball we were playing with this week was round, I'd be worried. DC has never played a physical brand of football and I don't see it happening this week either. HC hits em "right in the kisser", no contest.
  15. The only way Beech scores 38 is if the entire HC defense is infected by some sort of plague that renders them virtually paralyzed from the waist down. This one will be a low-scoring affair, decided by a late field goal. HC 20 Beech 17
  16. No fears, These coaches will go to work and figure it out. I hate calling it an upset, but HC gets in the win column this week.
  17. I'll eat my crow, boys. I'm a little biased, to say the least, when it comes to my football program. When you've won for as many years as the Patriots have, you become accustomed to it. I'm always going to believe that we are going to beat the competition, week in, week out. That's just the way it is. No disrespect intended in my predictions, just pride in our program's history of success.
  18. I don't consider 13 points a cakewalk. Close til the 4th quarter. Patriots score a late TD to put it away.
  19. No cakewalk, that's for certain. I respect the Tomcats, no doubt about that. I just respect our coaching staff and physical brand of football a little bit more. Maybe I'm biased, so be it.
  20. If they load the box, Odoms will have four touchdowns. Patriot defense will be too much for the inexperienced offense. As mentioned earlier, turnovers/penalties will determine the outcome of this game (Of course you can say that any week, except when H.C. plays Clarksville teams where it doesn't really matter). Patriots 27 Haywood 14
