Boy Kriesky sure scheduled some wins this year

Boy time flies. I forgot about those 2 coaches. Wonder whatever happened to Shuman. Rector has a way of leaving when the school has a dry run of talent. He did the same to Centennial.

Very true. I believe that Nolensville played at least 1 year maybe 2 with just a JV schedule. So if they did win a playoff game with juniors and below the. It is not surprising. Getting that much practice and that many reps will make you a good team regardless of class.

Daniels (Jack) then Rector had that program already established when Hester took over. Those dudes where already there. I give credit for him helping to develop them and putting them in the right places to be successful which is what a coach should do. I am just saying that for anyone to anoint any coach that has that type of athletes is nuts. When Will left the Ravenwood program in terms of athletes was not in a good place. And to just cast off what M Daniel did (even though I think how he got some of his guys is very shady) is also nuts. THis is not politics therefore it is ok to disagree. There is plenty of credit to go around when you talk about the success of Ravenwood.

Hester a a good guy. But he did chase the athletes to Nolensville and the money to Alabama. He made no secret about the money when he left so I am not saying anything that he hasn't already said. Maybe I am wrong but A LOT of coaches could have won with the dudes that RVenwood had during his reign. They were loaded. Heater has been at 4 programs now. Lavergne was not good at all. Ravenwood was very good. Nolensville was too early to tell and then Alabama which apparently was not going well. So is really some great coach like some of you believe? Maybe but maybe not. Most coaches can win with great talent. I just felt it was a little unfair to broad brushing coach Daniels achievements like they were petty

I will point out 1 thing. Hester left Ravenwood when he knew the athletes where drying up and went to Nolensville where everyone in the county knew was a hotbed. Daniels came in and did a great job of rebuilding Ravenwood back up. Now he is the knight in shining armor coming back after chasing the money to Alabama without much success on the field. Like him or hate him Daniels did a great job and I hope his time with the family is everything that he is looking for

As for #2 you left out Hughes and Fairview. They do a great job. All good dudes as well

Probably the kids that are not good enough to play but think they should be playing. Every program has them

I personally do not think it should be a career stat thing. I thinkbyear to year is best.

Wade from Summit should have won. Carries his team to a state championship with very average talent around him.

As long as they have the twins yes. Once twins leave the. They will struggle in that region in my opinion. Brentwood, Indy and Ravenwood will be top 3 year in and year out. The others will fight for the 4 spot.

Summit is very well known in these parts for the class or lack there of. They have the most obnoxious announcer that I have ever heard.

I guess I was thinking that if 1 wrestler has I think and wrestles on the mat then everyone that wrestles after him would be exposed. Not possible to clean the mat after every match cause it takes 10-15 minutes to dry. Either way I am glad those guys are getting to wrestle. They work hard

So them getting fined and slapped on wrist earlier this year is not evidence? And with their athletes you could run whatever offense you want and be successful. Imo

Not sure if they do or not but I am very surprised that they are allowing Wrestling. I would think of all the sports that wrestling would be the most risky for kids.

Brentwood and Summit are in the same county and Brentwood would beat the brakes off of Summit. Franklin beat summit and Brentwood beat Franklin twice by 30. Also I. 5A to be honest there was 5-6 teams in Murfreesboro area that would beat Oak Ridge handily. Beech, Shelbyville, Henry County, and Hillsboro, just to name a few. Doesn't really matter as OR got there and congrats to them.

Brentwood is a solid team but the championship was last night.

Summit will easily win this one by 2 TDs.

Oakland is loaded with athletes and many of those athletes did not come their zone or was coerced into coming to the school. Oakland was caught doing this earlier this year but if you can over look that and just look at their athleticism. The Maryville RB was a good high school back but He wouldn't have been in Oaklands top 3-4 backs. If they ran an offense with some creativity then they would match up with anyone in the country.

The worst part of NFHS is that most high schools could live stream a better quality product but the TSSAA will not let them because they would t get a cut. Complete BS.

Watching this game makes me realize more and more that athletes win high school games not coaching. Yes coaches put those guys in position but any middle school coach could win with what Oakland has. Usually Maryville does this to other schools due to having better athletes. Oakland has some impressive dudes.
