I have said that if waverly can have about 20 by halftime they should be able to get the W. Incorrect sir, I disagree with your statement about dominating the game. The entire first half was up for grabs. I watched the game on NFHS and you're welcome for supporting your school. There was never a dominance. CA was finally able to capitalize on a couple of plays and that was the difference.

You can tell R5 is enjoying their last week on the board, blowing as much smoke as possible before Riverside upsets LC and Waverly puts CA back in their place. Enjoy it boys while you can boys.

So being down by 1 point at halftime means you were NEVER in the game? As yal have said about our game. Turnovers and penalties are part of it. Both Waverly and CA should of could of and would of put bigger numbers up Friday night but didnt. Waverly has shown against some of the best teams in the state they can score consistantly so 40 isn't an impossible task against the CA defense. I have watched a few games of CA this year and after the loss of their qb I agree I dont see much of a threat from their offense. Waverly may give up a couple of scores but nothing compared to what CA gives up on the other side....but of course you r5 fans keep reminding everyone that Riverside has no chance against LC since they had to go to overtime with Eagleville when LC did the same when they played them. I just dont understand the R5 logic...oh yea yal won last year...

And after Friday night we probably wont see you on here again. We've always had respect for other teams, we've taken our crow when we were wrong, we aren't the ones on here insulting and calling everyone else's opinions stupid. Nobody has said it will be a blow out, I have stated that both teams have been slow starters. CA takes an entire half to get going while waverly has only been slow in the first quarter and even with that they still manage to get around 20 by halftime. If that happens Friday night CA might score a couple but they will have a real hard time catching up.

You're not really that wrong here. Waverly is a slow starter but not as bad as what CA has shown. Both are 2nd half teams. But if the Bulldogs dont have at least 20 by halftime they wont stand a chance.

There's a couple of differences from last year to this year. 1 Waverly is wanting the revenge from being upset by this team last year. 2 CA planned all season for their 1 game against Waverly last year and succeeded while this year CA has been riding the high horse all season long and thinking because they beat the tigers last year they are the better teams this year.

Just keep living on "last year" and maybe the hurt wont be so bad carrying that L all the way back to Columbia.

Just some helpful notes for the CA fans. Visiting seats are limited feel free to bring your chairs, we do have 2 good concession stands both on home side, we dont have valet parking and most of the parking is in the grass so I hope you dont mind a little mud or dirt on your shoes. We also enjoy payback games and have been hoping yal would be able to visit. Also just remember it will be a long quiet ride home. Tigers will take an early lead in this game and never look back.

Yea I went to columbia last year and saw this light that changed from green to yellow then red! It was the most impressive thing I've seen out of that area!

No it was general. The west tn guys all have respect for other schools. These middle tn teams are used to city lights and Starbucks being around the corner of their schools

I'm confused, or are you still relating to last year? Have yal found some good players to recruit last second or has the coaching and play turned a complete 360 from the LC game?

I seriously hate to do it but I will for this one time agree with MuttsRise. The CA and HC game should be a good game, R6 may have a slight edge this year. I believe Lewis county is about equal to riverside and HC and CA are about equal now.

To be honest after watching ca last week and hc this week....if HC plans it right they have a good chance. As long as ca plays like they did against LC.

The worst part about it for yal is the fact that yal were shut out by a "swiss cheese" defense....the only shut out of the year for wavo. But hey I'll give credit, I do believe 41 has been our lowest score of the season! Great job!

I dont believe the number of quarters played matters considering the teams that have been played. I'll agree both Gavin and JD both have a few more quarters played but they were required quarters against high ranking competition.

And then we get the classic "chicken or the egg" conversation. Lol both are great players but I'm just saying for this season 37 has been the playmaker. The kid can make insane catches and he is one if the hardest to take down if you can catch him

I will agree in parts. I would have to say 37 has been the work horse this year. And he is something special! Hard for WR/DB to get Mr football but hes definitely been the mvp for waverly so far and I believe he should be in talk for Mr football

Why do you care about waverlys respect? Yal planned all season for one game and upset a great team, just to get blown out by the other great team. Yal haven't played anyone this year and thought yal were the top of the world. Just hope them mutts lose early in playoffs, you don't wanna mess with these tigers at home
