  1. Tyner and Boyd should get a rematch. Tyner should beat Watertown 35 to 14 if they play like they are capable of doing. Number 1 should have a big night.
  2. Bledsoe did a good job of representing the region as a 4 seed versus a 1 seed. The 4th and 2 call makes me shake my head but at least use big #2 who got positive yards every time he ran the ball. The drive in the 3rd quarter Bledsoe was moving the ball well 4 or 5 yards a carry then elects totake the big back out and throws downfield for an INT. The Forrest kid did an outstanding job cutting the route off in the end zone and making a circuscatch in the for an INT and 62 is a really good ball player. I said 21 to 14or 28to 14 and it easily could have been a one score game. Congratulations to Forrest hopefully we will see you next week.
  3. I'm going with Forrest will win 21-14 or 28-14.
  4. RD and OP are just our own village idiots. The feud is over for the year, bragging rights have been established and jaspers little league hasn't suffered a fiscal collapse but these two morons just continue with the same dried up material. It would be nice if they recognized that a small community with two good teams is once again entering the playoffs with a good chance of success. Most residents have family or friends who have played for both schools and after the yearly game move on and generally support each other. Then again listening to the mindless and repetitive banter of these morons with their exaggerated redneck vernacular should make normal folks feel a little better about theirselves.
  5. They probably match up with both of those teams athletically very well if not better. In our game they had costly turnovers and penalties and I believe in the Boyd game it was close until their stud got hurt. Having watched them i dont believe if MC faces them again I would be anything but cautiously optimistic of a MC victory. They can beat anyone if they have an A game night on any given night. They could easily be an 8 or 9 win team.
  6. Tyner should win by two or three scores and get a rematch with Boyd. They have underachieved given their athletes but they are big and fast.
  7. SP is 7 and 3 with two losses to good 2a teams and the third loss to SC that they could have easily won. They will make it to at least the third round and if they stay healthy maybe farther. Im a MC fan but im pretty hesitant to arbitrarily put them above Trez or other west teams. Boyd and MC are probably top 4 or 5 but anything can happen in the playoffs. Tyner also has a beast in number 1 and can beat anyboy if they eliminate costly penalties and turnovers on any given night.
  8. Ross did pour it on SP but aside from that game the starters have rarely played in the second half and as whole MC has scored very few points in the second half. After the Grundy game Ross was thanked for being a gracious winner who did not run the score up. I agree game to game comparison's aren't really that helpful because I doubt very seriously if you play Tyner with their RB for a complete game you will get the same blowout result. He is probably their best offensive and defensive player and it seems like the game spun out of control for them after his injury. I'm not saying that to down the Boyd but rather I believe that Tyner maybe the most dangerous team to pull an upset in our bracket.
  9. No just sounds like he has a level of objectivity that encompasses more than when the lines of the field get painted. As a side note private jokes are typically handled on privately. I believe this is considered a forum which by definition is " an internet site where users can post comments about a particular issue or topic and reply to other user's postings; a message board".
  10. That's a pretty brazen stance for a team that won by one score with the game in question until the waning moments of the game. Let's run with it though, yes I agree that Boyd should hope for a less than typical performance by MC twice in one season. Better yet hope that they turn the ball over twice inside the fifteen in the fourth quarter, have an early whistle when #12 took it to the house negating a huge play and better yet a questionable "out of bounds" on a TD catch. I agree that despite all of that BB played better that night but that was one night and the playoffs are a different beast. Make no mistake I think that BB, MC or even Tyner with a healthy #1 have the capability of all beating each other on any given night I just wouldn't mention the hope spring.
