Don't really see much talk about our area teams so I thought I'd try to get some chatter going. What teams are the biggest surprises and biggest busts at the halfway point of the season????? Who are the top players in the Region at every post on and who's gonna take it all????

Thanks for the love I'm glad the Pioneers earned a little respect from that game. DC had a ton of chances to put that game away but CC is a pretty good team and the QB is legit.DC run game greatly improved to that kid running the ball was very impressed. Looks like things a moving in the right direction for Pioneers

Any opinions on this game??? Who do you got? Don't know much about Seymour I've saw a good bit of the press are picking against Crockett. Can Sensabaugh get his 1st W as a head coach?

Yeah Crockett QB is just a Sophomore so he's just gonna keep getting better he already looks like a Senior body type wise he has a strong arm on him too. Buc do you remember that WR that had 2 50+ yard TDS against ETown he's a Sophomore too. The team that showed up at ETOWN was not the team that was at SH I feel like they we intimidated which you can't win ball games that way. Yeah I think a little after Lewis moved to OT he picked up that KState offer which is huge from a Big 12 school. I'd say he will be playing both ways before it's over and done with you got to just don't have the luxury to go one way at DC

Im not hating on your your prodictions I was just curious to hear your point of view on it. They Def have a lot of athletes for a school like Crockett is we can gel up front I think we could be successful. It's all about execution on Friday Nights

Watterson im pretty sure is a a Junior Bowman is a Freshman with alot of speed he makes it look easy running the rock and i think he is starting at safety

Yea the Watterson kid is the real deal and Bowman will be a stud these next 4 years. Yes i feel the same live reps against different squads is always the best practice you can get you get to gauge yourself. SH has the athletes to have a great secondary just takes groups some more time than others.

SH D is pretty stout up front and the LBs. I watched Crockett scrimmage yall. DC couldnt move the ball on the ground. Secondary needs to tighten up some Crockett was able to throw on yall some. SH def has to ability to finish 1 or 2 in their Region very big and very athletic

That's how it usually goes year in and year out aside a couple special teams from the NET. The teams in Region 2 are beatable tho id say South Doyle and Central will be the Top teams. A writer said he thinks Boone and Cherokee are the favorites.

Who is yall's favorite to win 5A Region 1???? I kinda like Cherokee or MO East but it's hard to say TN High could be good maybe Boone.

Ok ok i was just woundering because it seems no matter what Crockett does they cant ever get any type of credit if we would of wont the State Championship we still wouldnt have got any cred lol. Yea i wish we had a ton of home grown talent so we dont have to worry about getting transfers and hear everyone say o well thats the only reason your successful. We are a little counrtry school and we dont do a good enough job in our youth programs getting them ready and playing compation at a high level in all sports.

Sweet why do you stay hating on Crockett??? They can help kids didnt wanna play for Cutlip and wanted to play with Pat and play for Coach Good. I bet OR gets kids from other schools. Wasnt Darrell Middleton from Powell everyone has kids who transfer in or out,

O yea id say there is a ton on talent walking yall halls because something is going on. There is no reason for a school as big as DB and the tradition not to be producing good team year in and year out like in the past. OR has more talent on the court i mean they got 4 to 5 kids that are about 6'5. I hope DB does go to Knoxville or Memphis or out of state to get there coach so we can keep ours.

Yea i dont see Green leaving plus hes got better athletes down there. Im pretty sure John Good is a serious contender for the job and ive heard that from alot of people.

Hahaha well yea thats a given I can see ot getting bad. Reguardless if we get blown out still a huge accomplishment for the kids,Coach Good, and the Crockett Basketball program. I say OR is gonna try to run it up after last year.

Yea everyone thought it was back to the bottom of the conference for Crockett after Patrick left and all Coach Good sucess was because of Pat. Goes to show you how good of a coaching job hes done this year with pretty much one star and the rest role players. Its a shame to see Josh get robbed on Big 7 POY Mike Mays can play but Josh was by far the best #s dont lie. He pretty much carried Crockett to where they are this year. Its crazy to think Crockett is in the same spot they were last year with alot less talent.

I know Oak Ridge is happy as heck to see Pat Good Dustin Day and company arent making the trip down there to play again lol. Last year was probably one of the best games ive ever watched period!!!!!!!!

Crockett def has quite a bit of talent returning that are young and athletic what our problem is in the Trenches. If they can get that figured out they could be a very good team. Not really sure what happened with him transfering back to SH. I heard he got a filed for a hardship but not forsure. Hes the only kid who has transferred back to SH the rest of the kids that transferred eaither graduated,about to graduate, or still playing 2 more came this year

Bluedevil the only guy I know that applied that was on the staff from last year was Jackson and a former player and assistant at Crockett applied for it also thats the only 2 guys from the staff that i know applied. GS applied for it they didnt contact him but ince Crockett found out he was interested they pretty much zeroed in on him and it was his job to lose. I think Edens would have got the job if GS hadnt applied.

I was just wondering what you mean by the remaining assistants were alienated by how it went down. I think Sensabaugh will put a good bit of time into seems like this is what he wants to make a career out of coaching. Only time will tell come August it will show how much time was out in.

News broke on it about a hour ago i hope Gerald can do good things at Crockett.

Its looking like Gerald Sensabugh is headed down to Jonesborough.
