Over 9 yrs with 2 boys playing for Greenback My son's game ended yesterday, #22 Josh Edwards has put his heart in everything he has done for Greenback, I am so proud of all our boys, and also a Very big Thank you to all the coaches throughout the years! For Josh and Tyler Cullen, This was their 10th trip to State for Greenback and they finished it out with a Championship! To everyone on CoachT, Some words throughout the yrs were negative, Thank you though because without you putting our kids down it just made our kids stronger and it showed. Now on to bigger and better things!! When you see a soldier in uniform , shake their hand and thank them for wanting to serve and protect you! My son is headed into the Air Force for each one of you with his head held high Best of Luck everyone! GREENBACK STATE CHAMPS

Gilbert started out at 5 yrs old, played 1 year then took 2 years off. Came back as a Hopper for Greenback and stayed until his senior year. As Josh started at age 4 and played 14 years only at Greenback

We are whole again yes indeed. Let me say this he has worked so hard to get back and I am very proud of him. Taking this 1 step at a time and as long as he plays with heart and I so glad his greenback brothers stuck by him all the way. Love our Greenback Boys and so proud of them all!

It was sure nice to see our TRUE Cherokeans get their TD's all except we missed one which I enjoy watching play #23. Good Job Blake, Riddle, Cody, and even our little 9th grader on your TD'S. Hope to see more on #23 next game. GO KEE'S

No But I am a very proud parent Of JOSH EDWARDS and let me tell you this, Watching week and week GB is missing 2 of the States best Running Backs that has worked as brothers on and off the field their entire life. Breeden and Josh also known as Thunder and Lightening with 1 completely gone you still have lightening on the sidelines begging to get back out there on the field with his true brothers. I sit back and watch and let it be known, When he gets released YOU WILL know the running game is back. Oh and you want to let stats from last year talk, Funny how the stats was patted and they took so much away from the my boy , over 600 yds at that and 4 tds. The true fans of GB knows Edwards had a heck of a year last year and he is so ready to hit that field with all his heart.

Greenback will be fine this season and we will go all the way as long as our players stay healthy. Yes we will miss Breeden but others have stepped up like young men do. I want to wish our GB boys the best of luck this season and can't wait to see #22 Edwards back on the field. Believe me it's been a summer and nothing worse to seeing my son hurt but this is making him a better man and ready for what comes after Highschool.

Thank you for asking about my boy Edwards, He hates not being on that field but his heart is still out there. He is DH but just cant handle the field with his knee right, After this summer he will be back full swing but gotta take care of a few surgeries first. One with his knee and the other having surgery on both eyes in June. Kee's looked great today in the games and held their heads high and showed Great Sportsmanship. That what the Cherokees are!!! Gotta big games tomorrow and if we played liked today we will be sending Columbia home hopefully. I am live streaming on mu facebook page each game so anyone can follow it. Michelle Bradam-Edwards. Also prayers going out to our only senior Dyllan as he had 21 stitches in his face today after beging hit with an 88 mph pitch. That is one tough kid!!!

First off, Congrats to both teams for making it this far. Both teams needs respect for these players are very excited and a lot of hard work to even make it to State. I pray for safe travels for all and let the players soak this up for this is something they will never forget. Second: This is not a 1 player game, It took all 11 of the field, The coaches, the players on the sidelines that practiced everyday and supports their brothers on the field and the fans to make all this happen. Third: Get over what has already happened. The best teams won, The best teams played what you call Football. People seem to forget that. It's not 1 play that losses or wins the games, It the WHOLE game. Fans are fans, You have great ones, supporters, and annoying ones. ALL TEAMS have it. Now let's go to a State bowl and watch a good game. Of course I am pulling for Greenback and I take it by 30 points. 1 more game folks!!!!!!! GO KEE'S!!

Oh I see the Grace fans are a disgrace just like the Refs!!! You all are a piece of work! Done with this story, GB will come away with better.

This was the worst by far for the refs. I sat there when my son played yrs ago and seen a repeat of that game tonight. I will say I am very proud of our Coach for standing up what was right. I applaud him 100%. If anyone can give me a site of how to send this TSSAA because all these refs have no reason to ref another game. GB had this game but hard to beat 11 players and the refs. Hey how about all the facemask but wasnt called. Funny how Grace kid had to get his glove out of GB's players mask. Everyone seen this and if you didn't you all need glasses. Pathetic pfficiating!!!!

Coaches are smart and has the other teams guessing, We have so much talent that running or passing we can get it done either way. TKA was glued on #24, Stats show #24 with 11 carries for 30 yds, and 2 kick returns for 59 yrds. total 89 yds. #6 Stats show 8 carries for 14 yds, 3 catches for 42 yds total 56 yds. This is a duo team with a great QB that has several good receivers that can catch as well. So much talent that the other teams has no idea what to look for. VERY SMART COACHING!!! And if you look Both 24 and 6 didn't have any help with the line last night. TKA has a good defensive line we can all give them that. GB came out with the W so Good Job Kee's!!!

Seems like #24 had the same problem with his mouthpiece that game, The players grabbed his and threw it into their student section. #24 had trouble that whole game with them threatening him but little do they know it makes him want to hit harder lol Good Luck Kee's in the upcoming game against CAK!!!

I usually don't post anything but my prediction for GB is this, With a very knowledgeable QB, a beast fullback, and a RB that knows how to read the field and hit his holes. Including receivers with the height and speed as they have, The line which has grown even since yesterday getting transfers in. I have no worry at all with our offense, Our defense will be just as strong. These 3 in the backfield knows each other like brothers. I've done stats on these guys for 6 years while in rec. Just can't wait to see what this year holds for this team. Praying for a healthy year for each of them. Good Luck Cherokee's!!

Ran up the score like they did, Hancock just had a major blow with losing a member of the football team that week. A little sympathy should have been played instead of the score they had. Just a momma thing here.

Well MadVegas lol Are you shocked???? Every game I have been on it to the tee just I haven't posted anything on here. I wish the Kee's Good Luck and let's finish this season by a State Win!!! One Game At a Time!!! Get this week done and let's run all over Coalfield next week. What they did to last week Hancock County just infuriates me at no end.
