Each week is a battle in this region.. Boyd hasnt lost a region game since 2008 so until they do they should be considered the front runner. They will beat KA by 40.

Boyd and Meigs both have to play at MC.......I believe? Thats probably gonna be tough for those two to win at that place. Marion vs Tyner may be for the Region title...

Private schools that recruit well and give Financial aide to Athletes will win. If they dont itll be tough in D2.

Yea they will be fine... Really only 2 games on the schedule they will have problems will... 8-2 at the worst this year. Offense will be fine!

Marion will be pretty stout this year... A lot of guys who have big game experience!

Meigs should not beat Boyd Buchanan... Boyd has a former college head coach and players from 2 different states. They have the best facilities and Have not lost a region game since 2008. Anything could happen though, Should be a tight region again this year...

24 privates in with the Publics. Not all 24 have declared they are leaving... Probably waiting on today. Seems to me their options are A- Secure a large amount of endowment to give to Athletes or B-Stay in with the publics and cut all Work Study programs and tuition discounts for multi child families. Hard Call to make. Looks like D2 2A will be loaded with the likes of BA Ensworth Notre Dame CAK Knox Webb and probably CPA... Thats 5 teams that have all won State titles in Recent years.....

Meigs will surprise some people. Just getting in the playoffs in this region is saying something. I still believe the Region Championship will be Meigs/Marion. With Tyner Boyd and Bledsoe fighting for 3-4 spots.

Rob Walters been with them for a few years now. played for Reynolds back in the late 90's was an All State LB. He took a job up in Athens this spring.

We scored several times but also gave up some too. All in all it was beneficial to get some work in. We will surprise some folks this year... we have a lot of depth about 80 players out.

How many new Football coaches did Boyd hire? With Reynolds Stone and Walters leaving they lost a lot of experience.

Meigs Co. will be much improved this year returning 32 Sr's.... They will be #1 in the region.

Meigs will be good this year. They have Boyd at home and should win that for the Region championship. They had Boyd on the ropes last year and should've beat them before the rains came. Meigs returns 32 Sr's and has 2 new coaches Join the staff. They should contend with Trez. for the title.
