  1. My mistake I thought I read Cane Ridge was home. I think it will be closer now that I know MJ is at home. That is no easy place to play, especially for a Metro school. Metro schools typically have not faired well at MJ.
  2. You both should make a PC and MJ thread and argue there. This is for Oakland/Hillsboro
  3. I've been impressed with Central this year, in their scrimmages and first game against Beech. They are a talented football with a lot of potential. Station Camp also is a well coached disciplined team. I expect it to be closer than people think.
  4. Cane Ridge wins this game by 2 scores. The Ravens at home playing with a lot of pride and big hopes for this season. I think this game helps kick start their impressive run.
  5. Edge to Riverdale to pull a close one out on the road. Riverdale has more playmakers than Franklin, to me that's the difference in a very close game.
  6. The problem is Hillsboro won't be able to score with Oakland. If Hillsboro can limit the turnovers, they might keep it close for a while, but eventually Oakland pulls away. Hillsboro turns it over more than 2-3 times, they get beat by 20+. Excited about watching these two though. Oakland brings a lot of momentum from last week into this game, and I expect their offense to play well
  7. This game has the potential to get ugly. No matter how good the Burros defense might be, I think they still lose this game by at least 25 points. If Hillsboro turnovers the ball over like they did against PC, it might be a 41-0 game. I'm glad this game is on ESPNU though, exciting game for the kids and staffs of both teams. 2 Powerhouse programs!
  8. Wilson Central switching up offenses this year has definitely improved their chances of competing this year. However the defensive woes in the second half against Beech could be a concern. If Station Camp can limit the passing game. I expect this to be a close game.
  9. My rankings are as follows 1. Pearl Cohn - big win against the Burros in Week 0. Although the the Burros are noticably not the same as in the past years. Pearls athleticism is beyond most metro schools and I expect the firebirds to have a great season. 2. Cane Ridge - returns a lot of top talent here in Metro and finished with a great first year under a new HC. I expect the Ravens to soar this year in the district. 3. Hillsboro - even though they are down, Clayton is still arguably the best coach in Metro. The offense however seems to have gone down tremendously this year, any big changes over there? 4. Overton - while Overton may possess some talent, Bleacher is right, they unfortunately have not been able to get past the first or second round in recent years. I don't see that much changing, even if they have a high win season. 5. Stratford - Under Fitzgerald, I expect the talent level to increase each year and will subsequently result in more wins. It's just a matter of time until this all plays out, but the Spartans are on the rise.
  10. I don't deem it to be unethical. To me what is unethical, is a coach asking players on another team or asking their own players to get the HUDL accounts of an opposing team. Once you have the login on for another team you can access any and everything you could ever want. I know from first hand coaches who have asked players on another team to give them their password. That's the real problem, that is going unnoticed.
