Humor me: some 50+ years ago I started reading books by a guy named Kurt Vonnegut (attended the University of Tennessee). In this book (forgot which one) the University of Tennessee's football team practiced,trained and lived in Miami Beach, FL. Not bad insight into the path we follow now.

Looks into three schools in West, three schools in Middle and three in East Tennessee. The schools you hear the most complaints about. Get tough. No advertisement no warning. Let the chips fall. I'm sure the TSSAA has that kind of manpower. No need for large funding action. Six months for three people. Possibly hire PI's. Of course no action if TSSAA is happy or unconcerned about the direction of high school sports. No, I won't give a dime.

Maybe try suspending a few school's athletic programs for a couple of years to get everyone's attention. Maybe look into "contributing to the delinquency" for some of the "handlers" and "agents". Possibly just enforce some rules.

Yep, looks like the "handlers" and "agents" have taken control. Seems the metro areas have a huge advantage with this new style of assembling a team. I've lost a lot of my enthusiasm for the game because of this direction.

All I know about the kid is he started on the OL as a Soph. Starts inside on the BB team as a Jr. He's big and athletic. I hope he plays both sports as a Sr. I doubt that he is soft, but go ahead and ask him.

Very true about pace. Pace. I didn't see any stats, but it seems OR turned the ball over too much.

I thought Ga. high schools used a 35 sec. shot clock. Big advantage in Bahamas tournament if so.

Any thoughts on high school BB with a shot clock. We had a couple of violations.

OR has a good mix of players. Coach Green does a good job of coaching and playing a lot of the guys. Fun group to watch.

If Blair returns to football, that will give us five returning OL. If Cooper comes back (concentrating on BB this year) that makes it six. High class problem.
