Unfortunately it’s never gonna get any better here on this mountain. To much Hatfield and McCoys going on with the South and North ends feuding. It’s been this way for years upon years and it’s not gonna get any better. Best thing that could happen is give Tracy Elementary to the south end and let them make it one school so they could be a 1A non powerhouse and the same to the new high school for the north end. That way they could be a non powerhouse too. All the decent athletes are leaving and moving on because there is nothing good in athletics here on this mountain. Which I can’t say I blame them. Grundy has been this way for over 40 years and 40 years down the road unless things change with the Civil War it’s still gonna be this way. Facts are facts and truths are truth. I believe it’s called same ole Grundy County bull s@$&.

Grundy will always be Grundy it will never get any better here! Same ole circus just different monkeys running it. Sadly, the only ones that suffer are our kids.

Same ole Grundy. It’s a shame people are mad because of this head coach being here. Somethings will never change here in Grundy, and the ones that suffer are the kids. As bad as I hate to say it Sequatchie wins by as many as they want to.

It’s like this, when you take out part of the trash and leave some rotten apples in the bottom of the can it will start stinking again at some point. Should have gotten rid of everyone on the staff when he was hired.

I was at l and l late yesterday evening and I was told by a man that we have a football team south cumberland minors. They said they have a game tomorrow night at gchs. Has any of you heard about this? Where are they from?

Just curious to how many of our mountain boys did the pirates get this year. Does anyone happen to know?

I was wondering if the athletes from up here on the mountain will have to physically move down to Dunlap to be eligible to play this year?

The word here on the hill is the Indians and Pirates are getting some new faces this coming year. I just wonder if those student athletes are eligible there if they haven’t moved since they were active on our roster last year?

I hear we got some Grundy boys coming down to Sequatchie this year. Any you valley folk heard anything about that?

It’s been this way since the current director and family took over. This school system and the whole school administration is a joke. Put a tent over this mountain it’s the biggest circus act since Barnum & Bailey. If you want to see your children succeed you better pack up and head out. It’s worse now than I have ever seen it.

It will be curious to see what all or if any changes will be made soon on the mountain. If none is made I suggest the valley schools make more room because more kids will be coming soon. It truly is a soap opera here people feed off the drama they continue to stir up especially an ex board member that got replaced this last election. The bunch that has and had control is the reason our system and athletics is such an embarrassment. It's time the people on the mountain that has sit back and let it get this way take a stand and voice your opinions and get things back where they need to be.

From what I have been told is it was all a set up from the grundy side of things from the get go by people in high places. This was done to help them keep from playing those schools. You think about this how many schools that's been to the state championship game three years in a row now would be interested in a player off a team that's two and eighteen in the last twenty games. You starting to get the picture?

Change is coming to the grundy football program from what I have heard and gather from our community and that's what we want. I also hear a meeting is scheduled about athletics soon and coach has sent out text invitations saying it's about junior jacket program hoping he gets a turnout making it look like everyone is there for him. It's bad when other people in other counties tell you they have never seen grundy football in this bad of shape. It's down right embarrassing to our community and our kids. The whole truth about the marion recruiting story hasn't surfaced yet there still a lot of covering up and lies that has been told by people in high places. Just curious to see what all stories or rumors ends up being true.

The whole mindset of grundy county is going to have to change in order for it to get better. Until that happens it's just a waste of time here and nothing is gonna get better. It's in the worse shape I have ever seen it. I'm not really sure the people here want it to get better. It's a place where they always like some kind of drama stirred up and it isn't happy until it's that way. Very sad that the children here have to be in this situation.

Here in Grundy people don't want any better. There is no accountability at all here, we proved that when we let board members vote on their family member for our director of schools. We just let a certain group do whatever and get by with what ever. In a couple of our sports here if we can't beat you we weaken our schedule so we can keep our coaching staffs because they are part of the buddy system. I have heard there's word going around there are going to be some changes coming with coaching and at the AD position but not sure how reliable the source is. Take a look at our top athletic programs this year alone. Our football program was 1 and 9 and both basketball programs are off to a 0 and 4 start. With that being said I hope you can see we're not headed in the right direction for our children. People here are scared to say things because their children are the ones who pay the price for what parents say. It's very much political.

If he steps down or the administration gets rid of him it will be very hard to find someone that will come into a program that's in as bad a shape as this one. Especially since all the kids that want a future in sports are wanting to go elsewhere. I have heard about the kids you are referring to and I'm not so sure they will leave. But regardless our sports programs here on this mountain are struggling and have for awhile now.

The great AD is a whole other issue. Like I said before we have major issues here that needs addressed, this being another one.

I have said it before and I'll say it again. All everyone wants to do on this mountain is talk about change but no one wants to help or step up and be involved in making any. That's how come things are like they are now and being ran by the one family. We all sit back and let it get this way. We heard about change during election time and now the new board is in place so let's see if they stick to the word CHANGE that got them elected. Or are they gonna get corrupt just like the rest. I guess time will tell. My suggestion is if your sick of things grab your phone up and start calling your elected members that wanted change and let them know how you feel numbers speaks volumes. You can bet I will.

The hardest thing for someone to do would be fire your immediate family and close friends. But sometimes you have to do what needs to be done. I say HIT THAT RESET BUTTON!

Rumor is Caine is leaving Dunlap, and if this happens since you folk are so up on this staff just sweep them off this mountain down there in the valley. I think you will make a bunch of mountain folk happy.

I'm just wondering how much money the coaching staff is giving Mr. Morrison for his write ups on us. It could also be a jab of reverse psychology knowing as long as this coaching staff is in place the Indians have nothing to worry about. Either way everyone knows how we are whichever way he tries to manipulate things with his propaganda.
