Lincoln County wins tournament championship 5-1 over Tullahoma. Great tournament playing by both of these teams, Congragulations!

If you where in the press box you had no angle or good view of the play at first, neither did the umpire behind the plate who called her safe. Didn't say the umpire held up his middle finger, said he had it on the side of his face, like he was rubbing his eye but he wasn't moving his hand. people on the coffee side wouldn't of had a good angle at this.

Like to say good job pitching by Owens only gave up one hit!

Terrible call by the umpire at first, if they couldn't see if the firstbasemen touched the base (which she did) then shouldn't they call her out! ,and then at the end of the inning , the fans where booing the umpire, he put up his middle finger on the side of his face and kept it there for about 15 sec. facing the fans. Unbelievable behavier from an umpire. At the end of the game the girls from Coffee spit in their hands before shaking hands, thats poor sportsmanship. I think the coach from Coffee needs to give his Players, Fans and Umpires a talk about good sportsmanship.

Great pitchers game! Falon only gave up 3 hits, Owens only 1. Falcons had to many errors 3 in one inning allowed Riverdale to score. The Falcons had good oppertunities to score but didn't. Falon did a good job getting them to pop up and strike out to get out of a couple of jams.

One of their losses was in 7 innings regulation game, against lincoln. Lincoln scored 1 in the 4th, final after 7 innings 1-0

Yes she's human and she did hit a wall. Tuesday night against Columbia, she t twisted her back. she went to the chiropractor wed. but was still in pain. She also has a seviere bruis on her hip where she has hit it with her elbow. Pitching so many games takes its toll.

I wouldn't say Pieroni couldn't pitch 6 games in a day. I'm sure she can and be very affective, she is a great pitcher! But she doesn't have to because they have other great pitchers too, and thats what being a team is about. Chelsea does get stronger as she goes, but it does have an effect after that many games. As it will with anyone. You don't hit your spots as sweet, or get as much break on the ball, or as consistantly. Maybe you could say it doesn't effect her as much as most pitchers. She has a real love for the game and is always going to give a 100%. I was glad to see both of these girls get MVP, they deserved it!!!!!

Goodpasture won 1-0 in the 8th inning tiebreaker. Danielle Pieroni hit a high bouncer over the 1st basemen to score the run. Danielle Pieroni and Chelsea Owens were named co-MVP's of the tournement. Congradulations to both of these teams for a Great Championship Game!!!!!
