Coach Harris is a good man, and a good coach. I hope the community shows patience with a young team and a bump up in classifications. I hope he can find an established OC.

Good work, it wouldn’t hurt my feelings to see a Greenbriar, White House, Liberty Creek, Macon County based region but I doubt that happens.

This is the only group I cannot find a topic for. What is everyone’s region projections for 4A?

I know your attachment to the Eagles program, but looks to most people that the Eagles are playing daddy ball. I know Westmoreland Baseball has a stud shortstop/pitcher that plays football that isn’t even a QB. He has tons of arm talent, but they keep running left, running right, and then right up the middle.

It’s the same ol', same ol' from Perry. My guess is they let him finish out his sons’ last year of high school football then they will let him “step down.” There is zero threat to throw the ball with their offense. Stack the box and you will stop their run everytime. I will agree that Harris does a good job with the defense, number 20 and number 7 played well all game.

I really don’t know how to answer this. Yes parts of Macon County has a Westmoreland postal address because they receive mail from the United States Postal Office in Westmoreland. There is no part of the incorporated CITY OF WESTMORELAND in Macon County. Therefore you can not “live” IN Westmoreland and be zoned for Macon County Schools.

Or how about I double down. Mailing address has nothing to do with enrollment. Just because someone’s mail is delivered from the Westmoreland Post Office doesn’t mean they are in Westmoreland. No part of the City of Westmoreland is in Macon County.

Westmoreland isn't even in Macon County, so how could they be zoned to go there. The Borders affiliation with Westmoreland is because their dad was preacher over there. They have always lived in Macon County.

Macon up 13-0 quickly still in the first.

He went to play in Clarksville because Chad Watson is all about himself, so that had more to do with him than anything else.

I think the difference was White had to play his butt off due to the lack of depth. Where as Macon was able to use more than just Borders.

Conditioning tonight is on the coaching staff. If it’s one player cramping you can blame the player for not hydrating or conditioning properly, but multiple players puts it squarely on the coaches. You are correct that Matthew needs more playing time. He’s always been a baller.

I have no dog in this race, but region 4 seems jacked up. Giles County which is at the Alabama line and White House Heritage which is at the Kentucky line doesn’t make much sense to me.

I may have missed it, but what are we projection the cut offs for each class?

LOL a 27 point difference? It was 35-7 at half time, and Macon County put it on cruise control after the half. I'm sure Clay County had at least one player hurt that contributed to us winning last night.

They are far from a powerhouse. Literally middle of the road.
