This would take West TN out of it. Not as many media outlets in West TN. The Jackson Sun vote would be demolished and we could change the name to the Blue Cross Bowl of Middle and East TN. Those areas are where the media outlets are. You can't tell me that UC somehow deserves to be "voted out" of a chance at a state title because the editor in chief of the Columbia Gazette has no respect for them.

So are you saying that no school will be able to request a change of districts before the Board of Regents votes on this next Thursday?

I think region 6 and 7 would more likely be: Region 6 Hardin County Lexington Chester County Northside Southside Liberty Region 7 Obion County Ripley Crockett County Dyersburg Haywood County Otherwise you would have Chester, Hardin, and Lexington driving through Jackson to get to Crockett, and the others driving through Crockett to get to Jackson.

Then go to option 2 region 3. How far are you from Livingston, Dekalb and White House?

Gibbs, Carter, Fulton, and Seymour moving up should lead to 3 West TN Regions in 4A. Especially if East ends up in 4A.

Looks like Gibbs, Fulton, Carter, and Seymour all jumped to 5A. Any official word on Elizabethton, Alcoa, or Memphis East?

Chattanooga is also in the eastern time zone. I don't see the need in Gerry's region 4. Those teams could keep doing what they are doing (go to Chatt., Knoxville or Nashville, and it would keep West TN from being in an unfair 10/5 split.

Why would the Crossville (Stone, Cumberland) teams not play in Knoxville. They are, what, forty miles away. That is their news source. Can someone explain why they play in Chattanooga? Doing away with Gerry's region 4 and giving West TN 3 regions to work with would cut the travel down in 4A tremendously.

Just wondering if there is any chance in this world that TSSAA gives West TN three districts.The move ups will be decided after the proposed regions come out. Proposed regions shouldnt be based on who MIGHT move up.
