She’s not going to Macon county….she will end up in sumner county. She has to, so it really depends if she wants a high school job or middle school job…the bashing of a great coach is absurd. Agree kids and parents are too soft these days in the participation trophy era. Be excited you went as far as you did if you’re a green hill fan. Westmoreland people would love to have her back coaching boys or girls. I’m sure she’s a tough coach and demands your best you know why I say that?? Because her teams win! And that’s what it takes to get teams to perform or get the best out of them might take a little yelling or truth talk but today’s generation would rather complain to administrators and force someone’s hand. She will go where she feels like people have her back! Two sumner county jobs of interest that are open Westmoreland high school boys SC high school boys maybe a couple more but not sure and idk about any middle school jobs but that’s probably better for her to see her son play in college, or heck she might just stop coaching until he graduates

seen both teams play a few times this year...if both teams play their best then beech wins, the difference and what makes cookeville the favorite is beech more often than not doesnt play their best. Cookeville is far more consistent of a team. Beech A game vs Cookeville A game = Beech Beech B game vs Cookeville B = Cookeville anything less than Beech A game gives them an L. But when they are going Idk if there is another girls team that can do what they do. Cookeville can stretch the floor and shoot well which always gives you the advantage....its a game of mismatches in this one, who wins the battle cookeville has no one to guard beechs post players but can beechs post players defend the perimeter idk...it will be a fun one, wish I was there tonight

She has been the best coach in every district or county she has been at. She is a winner period, if you don't want win then don't hire her lol. Gonna be a great hire for someone if she still wants to coach. Hopefully she does love watching her programs succeed. Good luck to coach in whatever she chooses to do

Anytime weird things like this happens it always seems to favor the underdog. It is like march madness, the favorite or the top seed like things to go smoothly its their disadvantage when weird things happen! I hope thats not the case for your girls though! Good luck to yall

How was the ties broken? Just curious...Bad draw if you are sc or beech. I am sure beech didnt want to play sc in their own gym and im sure sc didnt want to draw beech...assuming they win of course but that shouldnt be difficult....I am fixing to look back I think I called this exact order orginally!!

Looking at remaining games. sc controls their fate, they win out they finish second, but it could be a 3 way tie for 2, with a bunch of different scenarios, I dont know how ties are determined in this district so will be interesting finish for sure. Congrats to you bucs though, there was no doubt they were best team in the district. I saw were they made it to one of the top teams. Someone told me they are avg like 75 or more a game since christmas?? Thats wild for girls

Lebanon wont beat anyone in the region or sectional by 30...cookeville might. Lebanon is not near as good of a team as they were last year. They dont have a pg who can handle when the game means something that will be there down fall. Cookeville should def be talked about. They are solid watched them a few times over the last couple years. They are well coached and play together. Lebanon and cookeville MIGHT meet in the region championship game but it wont be by lebanon beating anyone by 30 to get there. But the sectional is no cake walk for anyone.

As it seems that you are a beech guy, question for you. would you rather see hendersonville, sc, or gallatin as the 2 seed. which means you wouldnt play them because you and 2 would both get byes in the first round

I mean no not really, curious to see the hendersonville, sc game tomorrow. Its a big time game for standings for those 2 teams. A lot at stake. Beech and Gallatin both win tomorrow beech will go to 5-0 gallatin to 3-2.....so if hville beats sc hville will be 4-1 sc move to 2-3 beech hville gallatin sc metro 5,6 but if sc wins three teams would be 3-2 with wins against each other. hville beat gallatin, gallatin beat sc, and sc would beat hville tomorrow, will be a good one to watch.

Well I guess that pretty much sums up this district...21 point win against what is supposed to be the number 2 team in the district. The district belongs to Beech, it was beech and lebanon for years flip a coin every game between those 2. Now lebanon is gone so it only makes sense for beech to win this pretty easily now. The question is will they let down one game against a sc or gallatin the second time around and someone sneak a win from them. They could just as easily beat everyone by 20. I didnt see the game but I know gallatin usually plays their starters all the way out even in blow outs, did both teams keep starters in the whole game?

Their only challenge in the district will be Gallatin, especially now after the tragedy they had. They are playing for more than everyone else. But they also play hard which gives a lot of teams trouble, Beech could split or lose or win both of those games. I dont really see anyone in the district beating these 2 teams, it will just be whoever wins these games finishes first and the other one second. Idk when they play but its gotta be coming up with as small of a district this is. It will be a great game.

Beech is still the best team in this district and first or second in the county. Westmoreland gets the nod as 1 because they have beat them twice I believe...but theres no one else in the county thats on the level of either of those two teams in beech and westmoreland. Both those teams will win their districts.

so lets talk about this district...as I have seen all the teams but the metro teams play multiple times so far this season. This might be the worst district in the state. gallatin plays hard but not very talented sc not sure what they are doing there beech on an absolute rollercoaster over there hville....well idk what to say about them Still think beech is the most talented team in this district but can beat or lose to anyone at anytime. they could run the district, split 50 50 or lose all of them, really unsure what youre going to get with them. gallatin as stated before plays hard so thats half the battle, you can win most of the games in this district just by playing hard. sc they have the best player in the district hands down, but idk what they are doing or if they forgot but if they continue doing what they are doing they wont go far hville well they have REALLY underachieved, thought they would be a lot better than they are. they might lose to the metro teams reevaluation of district break down after christmas 1. Beech 2. Gallatin 3. SC 4. The better metro team 5. Hville 6. The other metro team

Beech first hville second sc or gallatin then the 2 metro teams.... does anyone know if the first and second seed get "byes" in the district tournament for finishing 1 and 2 in the regular season? so 1 and 2 regular season automatically make it to region because they would be in semi of the district already and 3 would play 6 and 4 would play 5 to advance to the semis...

teams should have 11 or 12 games played, any of them with 10 is missing a forfeit win or loss, but these are within a game or so of accurate for sure thanks abo14

portland and lebanon has been forfeited by portland... a friend of my works at portland so I found out more information about that portland game the other day, they only had a few basketball girls, and filled the roster to make 7 or 8 with soccer and volleyball players because they thought they could still win the game! I love it good for that coach in letting his girls play as many as they can play give them a chance to win! But you cant do that against lebanon and they know that. It wouldnt be fair or fun for either team good on them! what happend with the cookeville SC game?
