Have you heard what has supposed to be said from DC ? I have not. But willing to make a judgement on words over an assault doesnt really seem appropriate. I do think it is time to let it drop from the discussion which I am going to do and see whether appropriate action comes from administration or whether its a just a finger wagging and play the part of the victim.

Not sure a Facebook page is a indicator I'm going to use to know what goes on in a program. Probably not going to see the negative. Tough competition with Arlington is always a given. Usually not issues on floor. Maybe this year it comes from player on opposing team playing for AAU squad for Arlington coach. Question I think should be asked is, if any other school program had a coach with knowledge a incident like occurred was going to take place, had a family member involved much less carry it out, let their own players be involved and then help them get away. How long would that coach keep their job? Much less trying to cover it up and cry when TSSAA dropped the hammer.

My shock was with other physical altercations in Shelby County they many times have been let off the hook and did not move fast.

Phone call was made just to see what the weather was going to be i guess.

McCord has not been at school since the assault. The player was not kicked out of practice the week before the game and played a great deal of the game. Who would kick a player out and then play them ? Day after game was removed while administration investigated and looked at what happened.

I'm shocked. But a good shocked. Did not think TSSAA would take action. I think Dyer County not going through is a good decision. Arlington disqualified and on probation is a better one.

again the information about the player and practice situation has nothing to with comments and in not correct. comments were coming from both sides. more to story than is being told.

you made reference to a information of a player and the practice situation. It is incorrect. Social media had same type comments coming out of Arlington. Nothing justifies an assault. Especially one which was planned. An emotoinal moment , heat of competition type thing i can see a young person not making a good decision. This was not that. Was planned, fueled by coaches and players took part. TSSAA should handle it.They wont tough. harden County should get a pass into the next round. Next time what will excuses be and with Arlington, there will be a next time always is.

I knew you have not justified any violence from your posts. Mine was more of a rhetoric question or statement. The two statements I believe are not the same. One school uses alleged comments while the other is review safety for their kids and coaches. If Dyer County did something to bring on this i do think they will take action themselves. It will not happen at the other school. TSSAA should step in and look at it before the next round of games.

Comments are comments. I would probably bet a few dollars comments came out of other side also. Coaches always say things in practice. But when did comments give free reign to allow to physically assault anyone? DC coaches are not saints no doubt, none of us are. DC coaches did not strike anyone in face first game nor help arrange and allow assault this game. Controlling the narrative should be truthful.

The article said" allegedly'. Which I can confirm was not correct. In fact McCord was speaking with parents, former players and fans but nothing about coaches. This is just a screen from the Arlington coordinator and is expected.

Caught The TCA- Dyer County game. Liked what i saw with TCA even with a loss especially the big sorry dont know her name. Shot well at line and team looked well coached and fundamentally sound. Out rebounded DC but everybody out rebounds DC. DC had too much O even with committing too many fouls and losing Springer on fouls midway in 4th. Although a couple calls on both side were very suspect. Back to TCA, I think will only get better. DC looked ok. Played a lot of kids. Should get more consistent. Has better bench this year more size. Just young in the bigs and first year players.

Not official yet. Numbers are changing and could be different soon. Good chance though Dyersburg is AAA according to number.
