Since 2001 Meigs is 14-7 against Central, if Central doesn’t win tonight I don’t see them winning for the next two or three years. It’s going to be a great night for high school football. Safety travels to everyone and hoping for a injury free game.

Central has played five games four bad teams and one good team and the one good team they lost by 50 so keep believing in what your tipping and we will see tonight.

I guess both teams are confident on what they’ve seen of each other on film lol. I think Central will move the ball some but the question is can Central stop Meigs on offense because in IMO this year’s team is better on offense then last year and last year’s team scored 61 points, so the question I have has Central improved that much on defense?

I agree. This should be a great game. Meigs getting the big lineman back will help a lot going forward, probably 6’6 300+ looking forward to Friday night. I think Sweetwater wins the region, I may be wrong but they are playing good Football right now.

When I think of Central football I think of most teams JV’s. I will make sure to tell the coach to bring the varsity because I think he was just bringing the JV so it would be more competitive lol

This is where the schedule gets tough for Central, last year Central lost the last five games 220-51. they could go 0-5 or 5-0. We will see starting Friday night.

They will have a tough game in Decatur at the end of the regular season, Meigs has got some players back and are staying to look good on both sides of the ball.

Agreed. Marion losing to Sequatchie is suppressing. Meigs handled them pretty well in a scrimmage but that’s just a scrimmage.

Talked to a Rockwood friend today and he said they have a stud running back. This will probably be a really good game.

This is a must win for Central and they should win by a couple scores, but lose this game and it’s going to be a long season.

I agree 100% I think Meigs was in better shape and it showed in the 4th. Sweetwater had several players go down with cramps. I think you said in another post that the team in the best shape would win.

I’m Meigs through and through but I will have to say I thought Sweetwater was the better team tonight but Meigs made the plays when they had to. And that’s impressive for such a young team.
