Baylor took 8 kids to Ironman last year....
#1..... Thats not a full team
#2..... 1 out of the 8 kids had a winning record.
#3 .....5 of the 8 had a losing record
#4.....We went to the Dvorak.....took 14 kids...more appropirate competition (tournament had 3 #1 kids in the country..Munaretto(world Champ), Mendoza, Ben devino (world team member)) but our kids were getting 5-6 matches. The idea that you have to go to Ironman to be elite is crazy. Poor scheduling.
