They were nice to me and thanked me for being a fan even if we were losing. Just like I am on here. My idea of bringing the Coke bottles up to Secret City went up in flames when I had my toe cut off. Coach Gaddis even said on his TV show, that our best WR that season probably wished he graduated in 91. Everything you said SS is accurate as far as I am concerned. NOT TO BRAG....I've said on here that I don't know a lot about football because i wasn't a Wildcat like SS and some others. Much respect SS. Other people have also said I don't know anything, add little to the board and should say thank you for what other people share. But I did remember how OR played almost 30 years ago. See I do know somethings I say this too get things off my chest not to pee off others. I wish I could go back in time and be friends with all of you on here. Water under the bridge though.......... I guess I should try and answer this since I have posted that I like Bonkers. Bonk's team is Oak Ridge. He shows it in different ways than I do. Of course, most people show their love different from me. I don't think he is a coach. Just has strong opinions has to what OR should do. That is all I got. RWR!

I don't know who was the worst but the 1992 season was tough to watch. It looked like the 1991 team never happened and the 1992 team never practiced together. If I have the wrong OR team in mind...I am sorry. I hope this year's team improves on offense and I BELIEVE THEY WILL. OR will be fine as the season rolls along. Farragut will be a difficult team to beat so cheer LOUD this Friday. RWR!

One night in the Fall of 1984, I was drinking at the bar in a place called Ivey's on the UT Strip. Dude sits beside me and takes a look at my OR hat and laughs. He then brags about the time he and some farragutless friends came over to ORHS and smashed a big window near the old gym. This pissed me off but I didn't show any response to his story. Then he went on to tell me he was the Farragutless player that returned the KO for a TD in the 1981 ORHS vs FHS game. OR was on a 25 or so win streak and lost that night to the blue bellies. What was worse was my friend who was to guard the left sideline let the FHS player slip right past him. The guy turned out to be okay but I never trusted him. The FHS game will be the toughest game OR has played this season. I MAY even predict a FHS victory, Oh, heck no! Wildcats all the way. RWR!

I know nothing about Cherokee but hope Clinton plays them and whips them bad.

I am with you all the way catswild except for the traitor remark. I believe we should let the OR players cleanly beat down the Clinton players on the field and we old farts go after the stupid remarks made by the Clinton coach. But I love your support of the Wildcats! Also, I still respect 92Dragon and a few others. One piece of garbage I still don't like is the mighty OpieShagnasty with one "n." Oh, I take that back. He is not garbage but he should have stood up for Clinton and not gone AWOL. Believe it or not but I don't hate Clinton. Farragut is my main rival. On to the Ads and their blue bellies. We owe them big time!

Very good job on the rankings. I think you have 9 of the 10 teams ranked that should be ranked but some not ranked in the right places. Toss out Bearden. Replace the Bulldogs with Kingsport D-B. A win over Oak Ridge doesn't mean too much so far this season. Summit should be ranked higher. Germantown ranked lower. 1. Oakland 2, Maryville 3. Riverdale / Old Lost Dad 4. Summit 5, Ravenwood 6. Whitehaven 7. Collierville 8. Germantown 9, Kingsport 10. Bradley Central.

Just a few comments after reading the whole thread... 1) Those Cat Fans getting behind Bervin are 100% right. Dude can flat out dominate high school football. Big Time College Football? I don't know but I hope he gets a shot at it. Personally, I would love him to come to UTC. I would like a lot of ORHS at UTC 2 ) I would also love to see more passes down field. As soon a 3 ) Ghost those former Oak Ridge Players and Coaches who were on the Clinton side of the field. Good call on this NoleNation3. I just heard the stats for the game. OR had 118 total yards on and offense the Refs took 120 penalty yards away from the Wildcats. I still think OR will explode at sometime but I have to admit they have been pretty bad in the first 3 games. As always, RWR! Let's beat the Blue Bellies next week.

Sweet, I don't remember if Gaddis said if Tarwater was back or not on his Wednesday TV show. He sure did praise Sharp's QB play at the end of the game. Not very happy with Peyton's defense though. One thing I know by Gawd is that I am back ready to follow this game! Toe gone, no pain, well bandaged and dressed from head to toe in OR swag. Good luck Wildcats! Play clean. Play mean. Who will win? The Wildcat Roar or the Dragon wagon? Oak Ridge fans have convinced themselves that the Wildcats are doomed but hope they can at least score one offensive TD. Clinton fans are optimistic but suffer with brain damage from the many blows the VictORy City Wildcats have delivered through the years. My Prediction... Oak Ridge is about to turn the season around. Clinton is as good as people say and should be confident but leave the ###### Cat taunt at home. It tends to ring hollow win you loose. Clinton will get 2 Big Play TDs on returns or long passes. Oak Ridge's running game stumbles but manages 2 rushing TDs. Both teams get a chance for late 4 th quarter field goals with Oak Ridge making their's and Clinton getting their's blocked. FINAL...The Secret City Cats 17 Dragonville 14.
