The Principal is Garfield Adams. He played for Coach Gaddis at OR. So did a brother or two. He probably Coached some at OR. His son Jaxson Adams was an Class 5A All-State DL last season and walked on at UT. Oak Ridge is loaded with people who could be on a Search team for the next coach. Here is a name I haven't seen yet who is a great coach but would probably not leave his present job...Coach Witten at Betsy. He has won at least two State Championship

Who is Coach Angel and what does he bring to OR that others can't?

Coach Gaddis has retired but he is not done roaming the sidelines at Blankenship Field in Oak Ridge. Mark Packer says Joe will coach the East Tennessee team in the Thursday Rivalry All Star game in December. Good luck Joe!!! RWR!!!!

ORHS's Principal has an Oak Ridge football background. Shouldn't he be a big help in picking the next coach?

He was a jerk at Hoover. Pretty bad at Valdosta. I forget how he did at the Georgia school between them but I guess it was good. OR would have to be in a deep hole to try Propst. Are we in that deep of a hole?

I'm seeing several names I know little about in regards to possible new OR HC. Coaches like Dodge are probably great coaches but I just have little knowledge of them. If possible give some info on the coaches being dicussed. I thank you. RWR!

Does Maryville and/or Alcoa get a phone call?

Minor at HVA? Wow, did not see that happening. There are several good coaches and programs in Knoxville. Central, Powell, West, Fulton, South Doyle are solid. Are any of the Knox Private schools coaches have outstanding skills?

Why must Minor go? He is the best young coach we have but you are right he is ready to be a HC somewhere and I'll always support him. Gaddis as the AD is interesting. Mullins is good at it but I have always hated how he wouldn't let Clary stream at home live. Just pray that everybody has the kids and school's best interest at heart. RWR!

I went ahead and prepared a tread for OR Boys Basketball and one for our District on CoachT Boy's Basketall. I will do the same for the Lady Wildcats later. I can't wait to see how our Freshmen girls play. Remember, Robertsville Middle Lady Rams won the Middle School State Championship last season and were 2nd the year before.. Support the kids...RWR!

The preseason scrimages have seem to have helped the Cats prepare for the season. Oak Ridge own scrimmage wins over South-Doyle, Walker Valley and Cocke County. On Saturday afternoon , Stone Memorial slipped by the Cats 41 - 39. DON'T FORGET....On Wenesday OFF THE GLASS DEBUTS. RWR!

I am an Oak Ridge fan and we have a former player in the NFL, Tee Higgins WR Bengals. Tee does show joy after making a big play. He doesn't get flaged for it because it isn't directed at another player.

This should be a great game. I like posters from both teams. Powell is now a rival to Oak Ridge and I use to hate them. Now, I just fell nuetral toward Powell. I will probably toss a coin to predict a winner. Go Golden Panthers! RWR!

I need some help. I am having trouble deciding which game to watch on Computer. Should I go small local high schools...Midway vs Coalfield or large schools Farragut vs Bradley Central? My heart is leaning to Midway vs Coalfield but FHS vs BCHS is usually a close game. Any ideas, please. ***EDIT*** Add the Rhea Co vs Karns game.

I posted on this subject during the ealy part of the season. Many people were against my opinion so I backed off and tried to play nice. . The last few games things calmed down some. Now it has reared its head again. The season has come to a close. Oak Ridge has some reasons to look forward to next season. We should move on. Why post this, " I don't care who the HC is next year they better not bring a PATHETIC Oline out there again. ? It doesn't matter what ADULT is HC but the kids are frair game for ridicule. Okay, go at me or ignore me. I just don't care about people who believe the players are not worth respecting.
