I agree with SS. In a perfect world, OR would have won State last year and Joe would have gone out on top. It won't end that way but Oak Ridge needs to find a way to part ways with class. I am not saying do it now.Hopefully when the time comes everbody will agree on doing what is best for the entire Football program.

My wife noticed something at the McMinn Co game in berween games of Candy Crush and sewing ( yes, I said my wife played Candy Crush and sewed during the freaking game! Ugh! ). The OR coaches were yelling and signaling plays to the players right up to the snap of the ball. At times it looked like a Fire Drill. One, do the players see or hear the coaches? Two, is this a sign of an ill prepared team?

With the time change and using the Inca Calendar, I calculate the next Kick Off will take place when Old Grannies pigs see spider webs off the ground in March and bumble bees hatch their babies after the last snow fall in Unaka...August 20 something.

I agree with what osunut2 and HTV are saying. Although, their arguement sounds like a George Carlin's 7 Dirty Words you can't say on TV bit. I also agree with those saying no reason for the penality call. To be fair to the Ref, we didn't hear what might not or what was said. It was a solid hit for sure and the runner didn't like it but the players seemed to handle it themselves, The next play it looks like the player tried rip the QB's head off.

Yep. I would have wanted to meet you and the McMinn County fans. You all on CoachT are nice people. I almost didn't go myself, my left foot was aching and my right knee felt like it was going to give out at any second. Also, my wife hurt her foot at work Friday. We were a sad sight to see. I really owe her a big favor for going with me. She is a Chatt. Central Purple Pounder at heart but she loves her some Wildcat, too. I hope you start to felling better and kick Powell. They are a lot better than Oak Ridge so bring the whole County with ya to Knoxville.

I cannot bring myself to post a season wrap up message. I was there at the game and seeing it live shocked me somewhat. I will give my final thoughts on the 2021 season in another post. I do want to take the time to thank " oridgecat " and his friend for saying hi to me and my wife. Nice people those two are. They came out of nowhere to intoduced themselves. I was weaing a Bengals jacket, limping slowly along the fence and looking goofy. They thought that must be Willie and they were correct. Before I could say anything the two guys beat my #### and went to get Sweet Science so he could cat stomp me too. Just kidding, they were very nice and I hope to meet them again and the rest of the CoachT gang. Basketball starts soon. Well, I will try and get my thoughts on the season together and post them. When I was teaching in Chattanooga, we would take Field Trips to Mayfield's and go on the tour. The ice cream at the end was not free but we made sure every kid got something regardless if they paid or not.

My wife loved the Indian and the horse. Last time we were there, I think it was Tee's senior year, we didn't see the horse. I hope he will be there this Friday. Weather will be cold and maybe wet. If I was the horse I would say, " NAAAAAAAAY " about getting out in the elements.
