There are some positives to having turf, I openly admit. However, the negatives from it far out weigh the positives in my honest, humble opinion. Player safety being at the very top of that list!

Congrats Milan. Y'all were the better team tonight. I did not leave the stadium thinking that Milan was a better football team than SGC. We had 2 sure touchdown passes that were dropped. 3 stupid personal foul penalties in a crucial part of the contest that really hurt. Also, I do not know what was going on with the playing surface but my God, The line monster was alive and well tonight. Did we bring the wrong cleats? Do I need to start a gofundme to buy our boys some cleats for turf??? I happened at least 5 times tonight. our last offensive play our QB had a ton of room to run and went to cut up the field and the line monster just took his feet right out from under him. @BIGPURPLEMACHINE I honor my word. I honestly think the game is going to be closer than many people think. If UC is able to get the offense going it is only going to play into their hands. They will eat that clock up and limit possessions for the opponent. This is a recipe for success. I think ensworth wins the contest but I would be shocked if it was a blow out.

Linebacker is certainly SGC's strong spot. SGC has 2 kids with D1 offers. Both are linebackers, and I would not want to meet either one of them in the hole! The other linebacker was our leading tackler from last year. I haven't heard the Milan's QB was hurt. I really hate to hear that. What happened to the young man?

In all seriousness. I think this will be a good game. I think that SGC is favored to win the contest, but I think it will be a good game. SGC has a better chance to beat Milan @ milan than we do in our home stadium...
