You are right about pitching. With the new rules it sort of opens the doors for a team that has lots of decent pitching. Even if you have an ace or 2 you still gotta have some pretty decent arms to win it. Scott’s Hill will be well coached. Coach Harkin does a great job down there. Riverside and coach Quinn will be well coached too. Just not sure they have the players.

I don't see Scotts Hill and Riverside winning this District. Tough to jumps up a classification and win it.

Not sure why this opened. I know they had a tough year. They community seems to really support hoops there.

sadly high school hoops is not for the best players anymore. Most compete with their high school team but really focus on the AAU summer games.

AAu and Travel baseball have hijacked kids for the summer. It stinks that they have to make a decision like that. Of course a kid can play football, hoops, and baseball. I have seen kids do that. then in the summer they play the one sport they feel like they have the best chance of playing in college.

We have to seed this state tournament some way or another. At least the top 2. But, on the other hand someone else at least gets a chance to be in the Championship game.

I have no idea who this kid is but the bottom line is PG play wins championships and it sounds like Alcoa has a young PG that can hoop and just needs to be groomed.
