If DC show's up with their hearts into it and just wanting to play ball, then they will win by 2 TD's. They have a very explosive offense that no one has really been able to shut down. Their defense is on the weak side but hopefully with a new direction or maybe scheme with the new coaches it can be fixed. They have plenty of talent on the D also. Remember it was just a year ago they were 2nd in the region to Boone. So you guys that are lucky enough to get to watch that game, it may be a DC game to remember!

Ahh Boone should take this one! Hopefully if I'm going to set out in the cold and watch. LOL I hope DC can get their feet under them against Halls but I believe loosing their OC will come back to haunt them. Not that these new coaches are not doing a good job but it's hard to know your personnel in just two weeks. DC is fresh and have all of their players except the Kollie's but what I understand the one that played LB hurts them the worst. But they do have that big defensive line with Lewis. If they play like a team again they might pull it off. DC's QB and WR's can be unstoppable at times, not to mention that little RB they have, I don't have a clue why they wasn't running his wheels off all season. I'll be listening to the DC game while watching Boone.

To answer your first question, yes he is still "technically" the DC HC. For your second question, he is a well known alumni and sponsor of DB, no matter what his job is or where he is at GS is a rep of DB, either directly or indirectly. GS does not help his own case by displaying his violations on social media. Third question and your best one! GS's actions are unprecedented. No coach in the country, much less in TN; has ever pulled the BS GS has pulled this year in so many ways. It definitely shows his true character and what character he was actually trying to pass off to his players. Don't believe this will make it to court, but I do see TSSAA imposing a lifetime ban from coaching in TN if GS keeps disrespecting the rules every other coach has to live by. I personally believe DB is an innocent victim of GS, just like the two Kollie boys. DB is an excellent school, with very respected coaches. Every school to some point tries to recruit, well schools that want to win. If DB was smart, they would publicly reprimand GS's actions. I said it before and it is my belief that GS is just a stereotypical spoiled NFL player. If he can't get his way he is going to try and bring down everyone. Now he has moved on to "helping" Sullivan County. WaCo, if you know people in Sullivan County you better warn them on his tactics of recording people and using the recordings later if he doesn't get his way. That goes for texts also. The difference between Washington Co and Sullivan Co is I don't believe Sullivan Co will put up with his intimidation tactics and whining before he is ran out of the county. This will definitely be my last writing on GS. He has already consumed more of my time than he should have. The people around DC and Washington Co has seen the light and realize what an uneducated idiot he is. By the way, they are still waiting on their T-shirts from his gofundme page and he has now caused me to hate Dallas Cowboys, my lifetime team lol. So go Titans! Geez

I tip my hat to the MOEast Coach. At the end of the game he talked to the DC players before his own. Told DC kids to not give up and how good of a team they are. Very classy! DC did out play them, slowly but surely the hooks GS had and has in some of the players are being removed. But until all the players get their hearts back in it, I don't believe they will be the team they once where. I believe that's why the team appeared to be playing flat. Time heals all, so hopefully time will heal them fast against Halls. Halls looks like a pretty fast team, their offense looks like DC's with guess what?......a lot of screens. Very, very beatable team for DC. It will be a close game.

I don't believe the baseball coach has any desire to coach football. Because just like football, baseball should be a year around thing, not seasonal if you want to be successful. Who knows what the admin at DC is thinking. They have really screwed the pooch with the GS thing and let it get totally out of control at the kids expense.

LOL GS has been researching all night evidently and the TSSAA better retract their statement about him recruiting. LOL This is what GS posted an hour ago............ A coach can not recruit players to come to his school but any kid can transfer in with a residence zoned for a school. If I’m reading this incorrectly somebody please help me understand. Otherwise TSSAA might want to retract some statements. I can encourage kids to go anywhere as long as I’m not recruiting kids to come to my school. As of right now my school is David Crockett. I know you can’t transfer and immediately be eligible for the same sport in the same year (can’t play for 2 teams in the same year). Once again, I will help any family/kid that I can if establishing a residence is a problem..... “Please don’t be naive and fall for more “Good Ol Boy and Girl” tactics” “Knowledge is key” IMO GS has completely lost his mind or he is just a complete idiot! Does he not realize that either directly or indirectly he is an agent of DB? He is right about one thing Knowledge is key and he seems to be lacking that in just about everything he has been doing. From County Gov to HS Coaching. I might be wrong but I really don't think TSSAA really cares who he is or what he has done in the past.

That's questions I guess TSSAA will be asking too. I heard (and I know it's just rumor) but the area was left unlocked for GS. It's a mess with no one to blame but GS. I believe the only good thing that will come of all of this is GS will not be allowed to coach any kids again in TN. I hope anyways.

He is trying to completely ruin both programs. He has spoke publicly about how he doesn't like DB and coaching staff and of course the current situation with DC. He wants to kill two birds with one stone! I don't believe the kids or parents are familiar with TSSAA Regulations and I don't think they believe GS would do such craziness to them. But it is after all, all about him! Devil58, you replied that you have never heard GS speak bad about DB or speak bad publicly. GS has told several people in conversation that DB and the DB coaching staff was trash. One of the reasons he didn't want to play DB in a scrimmage, was because in his words they were horrible and he wanted to play real teams that would challenge DC. So, he took DC to Austin East to scrimmage. Now, I didn't get to watch the game but what I understand he might have been better off playing a closer smaller team because it didn't turn out to good. With that being said, its common knowledge that GS and other coaches at DB didn't get along very well by the end of the season. He was a former NFL player and they were not, he knew all and they didn't. Clark, had to actually get on GS for using too much profanity towards the players and at one point GS went off on some of the coaches in the locker room at halftime during a game, advising them how bad they were. Clark was not going to hire GS to do anything at DB, thats why he went to DC for the HC job. Of course, Clark is not going to blast GS, after all he is or was a sponsor and a well know alum. I wouldn't put anything past GS. I just really hate that he most likely used those kids to cause this latest trouble. They probably didn't have a clue that one could get into trouble for this. If more is found out and rumor is they actually watched film at DB, then TSSAA will have no other options but to impose sanctions.

LOL Agree all of our life and that is a long time!!! Sorry! haha But if schools want to recruit anyone they should look at the offense coordinator which was blistering the region (#1) before he was released for telling the truth and last years defensive coordinator which had them (#1). GS's defense was horrible to be such a defensive minded coach!!

But they didn't brag about moving to DC district on social media and they had legit reasons for moving.

Just heard the recording GS released! Lol can you say he just committed suicide by doing that? He sounds like a spoiled kid that can't get his toy or an idiot and telling your boss to be quite! WTH Best thing he could have done to get rid of him.

Ok Devil58, had a good talk over breakfast. Austin Lewis will not be going anywhere. That was just rumor probably started by the GS bunch. There has been a lot of behind the scenes go on this year with GS. Shew! Glad I didn't have a kid playing there, I would have been in jail. But anyway, GS told the seniors on a daily basis that they where F'n trash and that he has to get rid of them. For mostly that reason Lewis isn't going anywhere. He does not want to be another victim of GS. His uncle said that Crockett is Lewis's school and not GS's. I have to applaud that type of mindset. I asked about his scholarship offers and he has committed to Liberty and at some point one of the Liberty's coaches got into it with GS over GS talking bad about Liberty. So, the HC Turner Gill told Lewis and GS that Liberty did not care if he plays one down of football this season. I'm sure GS didn't take that to well! LOL Also, I'm sure you have heard. Kids voted to play this week. Let's pray things might get back to somewhat normal.

That is what I was thinking. Evidently the parents from the GS side are making things tough on him and there is some safety concerns. That is exactly why I hope he stays just to be a thorn. I'm meeting with his uncle tomorrow for breakfast and I'll get the whole scoop.

Looks like Lewis might be the first one trying to transfer. I heard at Church that evidently there was an adult that threw a helmet at Qualls then tried to pick a fight with Lewis. Said he was trying to get TSSAA to grant him a hardship waiver to play football for the remainder of the season. But definitely wants to play basketball where ever he goes. I hope he stays at Crockett, that kid has brought a lot of good attention to Crockett over the past few years. Just feel bad about the whole situation.

So the kids are voting? Seems like an escape goat for everyone! Where is the "adults" at? Lets just throw this decision on the kids. GS is gone! Move on.
