Upperman beat H2O last night. I think Watertown wins but it may be close.

Remember TC kicker is the QB that’s suspended for first few games. TC will use another kicker than the youngster they used last night. Key for TC is stay healthy. They could be 0-2 or 2-0 after first two games but it means nothing until they play Watertown and when they get to playoffs. Stay healthy and improve and it could be a magical season in Hartsville.

It was just another scrimmage. The one that counts is week 3 against Watertown! Like Clint said tonight in the endzone during second quarter, it don’t matter what you do the first two weeks. Game 3 counts toward playoffs!

Trousdale beat gallatin 20-7 with older group.

I coached all these boys back in pee wee back in the day. It’s good to see this young group come up. I personally think the only way they represent the east is to not get anyone hurt and get the qb back and hitting on all cylinders. Right now they are having to play the big rb at qb to get by! But just like back in 2014, we were loaded coming back from 2013 State team and injuries killed us!

TC has Lebanon (6A) who was playoff team last year and Frievdship Christian (private Div II) who will have a 16 game winning streak after winning state championship in first 2 games! They play Gallatin (5A) in jamboree tomm also! So could be tough sledding without best player but they have some new kids that look to be talented!

Funny. That’s not happening. After the gas guzzler coach getting fired, this coach is safe for awhile. Trousdale has a good team but they may very well start off 0-2. Their QB who was all state will not be back till after those games. They are still a relatively sophomore team with the exception of the line. Trousdale returns a lot back but in no comparison to what meigs has coming back and are a lot younger than meigs and Tyner for that matter. Now I think they can have a say so if they stay healthy and QB comes back. They will not without the QB plain and simple. Wouldn’t matter if Phillip fulmer was coach. The QB is prob one 3 best players in AA. They are totally different without him.

3-1 scores BGA in varsity part. TC should have scored on first drive that was about 16 play drive but got to 2 yard line and didn’t score. QB was non contact on both teams and it cost TC a score on that drive because QB scored on roll out but they called it dead.

It will be a great game. That’s the game I know the coaches are telling the players they are getting ready for. The first two games are very tough for TC but the one that matters most is the Region game with Watertown. I am hoping to be at The Creek Bank for that one. I know my grandson says they have been hearing how good the price kid is from the coaches and they have that one circled! I think he was chosen mvp last year when TC QB had way more yards rushing and TDS and Also killed him head to head. Gonna be a great Region game. Qb will be back for that one I’m told.

He did not dominate TC last year on defense or offense. TC QB was best player on field with over 200 yards rushing. Not saying he’s not a great player. But he was a non factor last year!

Who won the scrimmage between you and lebanon ?

Watertown is loaded with seniors and the price kid is very good. That game with TC will be a war. The winner wins the region! Watertown will try and throw the balll night and they are good at it!

Macon County is wayyyyyy down. They are worse than jo Byrnes. They lost everyone from last year.

TC has not forgotten it! That score is hanging in their locker room. Hopefully TC can meet up with you guys in playoffs again. Always a challenging game when both teams meet up. TC will have to make it through first few games without all state qb but he will be back after first few games. Hope Marion the best throughout the regular season.

There was no fight. It was shoving between freshman or Jv players at end. Both teams shook hands. There was no brawl.

Beat Upperman I think 9 scores to two . There was no brawl. Two kids started shoving each other in the Jv portion of scrimmage. It didn’t last for more than 10 seconds. Both sides shook hands and it was all good! None of the varsity players from either team were in game. Was young guys.

Gordonsville will beat them if they will run the ball at them with tailback!

I’m not saying he’s not a good Player. He was non existent last year. The qb was out, but price was on field on offense and defense. To be honest I don’t even remember him at all in that game. But he was Region mvp and the jackets all know that. The jackets qb will be back for Watertown. Heard that this morning. We will see if that’s true. He was no question the region Mvp last year but somehow price got it. But it’s a new year and I hope the price kid the very best in all but one game!

H2O is correct. When I was at the TC scrimmage the other night one of the assistants quote was, the first two games are big games but the one that matters is game 3 with Watertown. That’s the one that counts toward district and playoffs. I think it will be a great game but I think TC is stronger and better on the line than Watertown. The price kid and qb are both good players and will have to be taken care of! Look forward to some football!

TC scored 9 times. I think Upperman scored twice. Only thing Upperman could was throw the ball and the two scores were on deep balls that TC DB was there but just didn’t go after it. Someone said Upperman had new coach so I’m sure they are still putting stuff in. But it wasn’t a game format. It was just plays and both teams had same number it seems on both sides of ball
