Waverly will be the team no one wants to play at the end of the year. They are the most athletic team I have seen in the district so far but haven't seemed to find that chemistry yet.

So after two weeks what would your predicted order of finish be for the boys

Where is the CA crowd? Not many supporters

If you hold Waverly to 27 I will streak across field after the game

This has been a great thread, I love all the arguing it makes it fun. Ultimately the kids on the field will decide the outcome but us fans can have a great time arguing about it in fun on here. Lewis had nothing for Waverly, if that was region 5’s #2 it’s true that is a very weak region. I’m ready for round 4 so I can see a good game.

I sure hope CA is better than Lewis, if Waverly coach hadn’t called off the dogs they probably would’ve hung 60 on them. I look for another dominant Waverly victory over another slow team.

I would love to see Waverly hang 60+ on Lewis County this Friday night. I have watched a lot of football this year and I just don't think any region 5 team has anything for Waverly.

I look for Waverly to be tough on D and turn people over a lot which will lead to some easy baskets. A lot of quick players to run in and out. Camden will be up and down with no real threat under the basket they will live and die by the 3 for the most part. I hear CW is a guard oriented team and also have a PG that has transferred in, they could make some noise if they are able to play as a team and develop a consistent scoring threat from the outside.

I believe Waverly will do a few different things on defense to try and limit the big plays. If they can do that I feel like the score will be 50 something to 20 something at the end.

General just because your butt hurt about getting 63 hung on you can't you find another thread, like basketball since that is what your team should now be focused on.

IF field conditions and weather are good I think Waverly will put 50+ points and probably give up around 30.

Who from this bracket has the best shot to reach the semis?

Based on who Forrest has played and the scores I can't imagine this game still being a contest after halftime. The only way to beat Waverly is outscore them and that doesn't appear to be something Forrest is capable of doing. I haven't seen Forrest play in person but I have watched 3 of their games on film and I just don't see enough team speed. Waverly has entirely too much speed to be shutdown consistently for 4 quarters by anyone in 2A in the state.

Is a dead ball personal foul an automatic first down?

I have seen both teams play this year and no disrespect but they aren't in the same league. Waverly's offense is as good as any team in the state in any class, now their D is weak so they do give up some points. I think the game will finish with a running clock.
