  1. Yep heck of a play by 13. They kind of slowed the pace down and WH had a off night.
  2. So much for turning the season around,White House just lost to Westmoreland in 1st round. Season over. Nobody in this district can win the region imo, Sycamore might win 1 game but I just don’t see them winning more than that.
  3. And doing it without their post player was even more impressive. The other 2 post players stepped up big time. White House to me is the most talented team in the district.
  4. I’ve seen him listed from 6’8 to 6’10 so not real sure. He gets touches, he’s not a statue, he can move, ive seen him take a few coast to coast. He’s been playing fine and his teammates are starting to join him. They are on a 14 game win streak are starting to smash some teams that they barely beat last time.
  5. Current district standings above from coach t. Sycamore undefeated in the district. But they can be beat, the big kid is offensively limited. I was at the Harpeth vs sycamore game and they had 25 points after 3 quarters. Not as talented as I thought overall. 33 # for White House to me maybe the player of the district. If their point guard is playing good they are tough to beat. Harpeth Is well coached, best player is #3, Who is 5 foot nothing and they give teams fits. Still think district will come down to Sycamore, Heritage, or White House. Which ever one finds the most consistency. Cheatham and Westy Are struggling.
  6. Sycamore Current Streak: 11 W 14-3 5-0 White House-Heritage Current Streak: 1 L 9-10 4-1 White House Current Streak: 3 W 7-15 5-2 Greenbrier Current Streak: 2 L 11-8 4-3 Harpeth Current Streak: 2 L 7-11 3-5 Westmoreland Current Streak: 10 L 2-12 0-5 Cheatham County Central Current Streak: 2 L 3-12
  7. 3 teams are above .500 right now. Sycamore, Greenbriar, and WHH. Sycamore is most talented with big kid, double him and leave open shooters or let him kill you. Looks like WHH and WH have really played up in competition based on schedules. So should be ok in district. Greenbriar is winning but I would say talent is about the same across this district and they will lose some. Harpeth, Cheatham, WM Not much size, streaky shooters. If I had to choose today I’d go. 1.sycamore 2. Heritage 3.Greenbriar 4.WH 5.CC 6. WM 7. Harpeth Just my opinion, I know it’s still early and I could be wrong. Sycamore only team with shot in regions depending on matchup. Watched them play East and East won by 20.
  8. Sycamore or Heritage would be my guess....dont see Harpeth being the 3rd, they weren't very good last year and those kids left. Cheatham has a nice PG but not alot after him. Blue devils lost top 2 players.
  9. Sycamore for sure, they bring back the big kid and at least 1 more starter that I know of. What does white house bring back? Ward and Octavian have moved on to college ball. Ward at vol state and OJ at Martin Methodist.
  10. And that didn't last long, Cubs down 29 to 7 in 3rd. Huge turnover on opening drive of 3rd changed momentum.
  11. I think they get in the playoffs this year... I'll say Camden/ Fairview winner is 1, loser is 2 Sycamore 3 Stewart 4. Still got an entire season though so any thing can happen.
  12. Yellowjackets lead 26 to 6 end of 3rd over Cheatham. Sycamore leads Stewart county 14 to 12 in 3rd.
  13. 26 to 6 Fairview at the start of the 4th.
  14. Sycamore should be a dark horse to win this region. Return a 1500 yd rusher in #5, who was the offensive mvp. Have some good lineman returning and their quarterback may be the best in the region this year. He started some first 2 years but is clear cut 1 this year and has looked good in 7on7. Just a Jr. Has big arm and wheels.
  15. Cheatham is down a head coach and a top lineman. Coach Hatley is an assistant at Franklin and top lineman transferred to Rossview.
  16. That's a huge problem. The powers that be have run off some great coaches, teachers and administrators. Been going on for a decade now, with no end in sight.
  17. Cheatham also held them without a field goal for the last 7 minutes of the game. WV only scored from the line. These were not upsets as someone stated in another post. They beat Macon at their own game (transition, 3's and driving) and Westy at their own game. ( Slowdown, def battle). Had they hit free throws and layups the Westy game would have been by double digits as well. The 6'2 post made them alter some routine shots.
  18. Cheatham returns 1 starter and 2 other girls who played some minutes. They have plenty of talent on the bench that needs some experience. I fully expect them to win 9aa again.
  19. I'll take cheatham. Two of East losses are to Maplewood who cheatham manhandled twice. I know that's not always a good sign but I think the lady Cubs win by double digits
  20. Sycamore should be the favorite returning the big boy, what does heritage lose?
