I don't think this game will be a pushover either way. I believe it will be a dog fight as in previous years. Hopefully the experience from Covington's upperclassmen win come in to play and help out. I know Milan will bring a crowd and I'm sure Covington will come out and support. Looking forward to a great game and playoff atmosphere . GO CHARGERS!!

Yes both teams played a great game last night. Alcoa is a great team and they have a great program. You can also put Mcnairy & Covington's team together and still not have more or equal to the amount of players Alcoa have. Just stated that because I feel like any team that come out the west will not only but up against a great team but depth will also be a huge factor.

I hope Covington & Pearl Cohn meet up again. That was a great game last year and I am sure it will be this year as well. I just hope this year Covington will be celebrating again moving to the state championship. I know Pearl Cohn will be looking for revenge this year after a tough lost last year.

Should be a pretty good game . I will be keeping my eye on this one. This whoever win this one should come I second in the region.

I think the #7 kid is different from Carlos ( not taking anything from Carlos because he is a great athlete) . He is bigger than Carlos & spead I really can't say in comparison but he has plenty of it. I think what separates the two is the physicality. Hayes is hard to bring down if you can get to him & will run you over. Go Chargers!

A big region game in Covington Friday night . What are you guys thoughts on this one ? I pick Covington. Seem like they are clicking very good right now. Running & passing game look great .

I think the passing attack from FACS will be a good test for the young Covington secondary but I think the Charger coaching staff will preach pass first a lot this week & they will be OK with a few bumps along the way. FACS will have trouble defending the Charger run game & will also has to have the pass in mind too because Covington QB can sling it too when called on .

Think he will get to start as a freshman? No down talk to Westview but hey why not take the time and build him up young. Can't get any worse. I can't wait to see him play myself.

Covington will also be one of the most disciplined teams & talented at the skill position as any team they have faced this year.

I think the Chargers have a point to prove from the close loss they took from RE Last year at home in the regular season. According to unapproved website it was a 3 point loss. Hopefully that will be a little motivation for the Chargers along with an opportunity to play in the State Semifinal game. Been a lot of talk about RE running back. He run hard and is fast. Hopefully the Chargers can contain him. Does anyone know if RE have any other weapons on offense?

Should be a good football game if these two come head to head . One game at a time. I agree with fbfan26 the Semifinal will not be a cake walk for either team. Covington or Raleigh Egypt if they make it will have to travel to Middle Tn.

The Chargers were kinda slow out the gate Friday night. Hopefully they will be ready from the start this week. I know the coaches will drill that this week in practice.
