Maryville did not choke. I thought their coach had a great game plan and their kids brought it all night. That James kid is the difference. Maryville hasn't seen an athlete like him all year.. Macon County guy that said they choked obviously wasn't at the game.

Loudon took care of business Friday against Grundy. Loudon needs to up the intensity on defense to get a second round victory Friday night at Chig Ratledge Stadium. Hope for safe travels to Cannon County.

Redskins host Grundy 1st round. Redskins played very good against Kingston hopefully we keep it rolling. Need a sharp performance this week!

28 - 7 Redskins final. Best game we've played in weeks. Kids looked dialed in. Mcminn county game really helped us. Great season Region 3 champs!

Sweetwater needs Signal to beat Brainerd. If Brainerd wins Sweetwater is out no matter if they win. It will be Loudon/Kingston winner and loser will be 1 and 2. Then Brainerd would be 3 and Signal 4.

What disapoints me tonight is we will have to beat much more talented teams with way more size than what we saw tonight the rest of the season and I have no idea how much intensity we will bring? Yes our QB made some throws (his 2 picks were terrible throws) and our WRs made a few plays but the effort and intensity the last 2 weeks have been subpar. If you look at my posts in this thread I think you will see I already felt this coming.

34 - 12 Redskins final. I am absolutely embarrassed by the effort level, I knew this was going to happen. GB played in their super bowl and we didn't even want to be there. Hope this is a wake up call. Offensive line was embarrassing tonight, couldn't move 165 lb single A line. Hats off to GB wanting it more.

34 - 6 starting 4th

I must have slept on that, you had a long pass but it wasn't a TD. Anyways we have looked pretty sad, kids were told all week GB was going to lay down and lose 60 to 0.

27 - 6 Redskins. This has been asolutely the most uninspiring football I have seen the Redskins play in 10 years. We have a WR walking in the end zone and gives the ball to the defense? Offensive line looks absolutely disinterested in the game. Defense has been embarrassing, Keaton thrown 2 picks this is why I hate kids listening to how good they are.

Well I will say I hope for both teams to get thru injury free and for both teams good luck on the rest of the season. Hopefully you guys can win that region for Loudon County.

O&B I'm hoping your family members don't tell the rest of the team this game is already over. GB always plays all out against us. I'm just hoping our kids come out with real intensity, and I mean all of them. Our starters seem like they do but when we get a good lead and we mix starters with the younger kids we have drop off in our intensity level. You can see this in our kickoff coverage team, it's like they are waiting on someone else to make a play. Coach Harig has been on them this year.

We played really sloppy tonight against Signal. A ton of penalties in the first half that would have put the game away really early. Our DBs are not making easy plays on balls when they are in great position. Our offensive and defensive lines are getting better each week and that is a bright spot but we have got to get better at RB to help Keaton. WR corps has done a decent job but they got to get better on making easy catches. Greenback will definitely play hard against us but we should have enough athletes to get the job done but our kids don't need to look at their rankings and newspaper clippings on how good they are. They better come into this game ready for a dog fight and bring full intensity from the opening whistle. We have yet to play a full game with intensity. Hopefully we can this coming Friday.

Meigs looked very impressive last night. Signal QB was out but I don't think it would have mattered. Meigs was way too physical.

I hadn't found a thread on this game. I wanted to thank Meigs County for a beautiful American flag ceremony for the fallen soldiers in Afghanistan, tonight with Lee Greenwood song and the national anthem. At halftime they brought first responders and veterans to their South end zone. I was so proud to stand in that end zone with my fellow brothers and sisters. You guys are a class act! This old military vet Thanks u and God bless America and as your PA announcer would say " Go Tigers!"...best of luck on the rest of your season!

We gave up some plays but we are very young on defense. I thought we adjusted well, GP came to play and schemed well. Dawkins kid is such a gamer. Young kids got to play on tv late. #17 Chenalt is young but the game is slowing down for him. O-line is young had a rough start but got better. Keaton was solid as usual. We certainly have some things to clean up but overall we're getting better. Getting Chavez back at LB will help in next couple of weeks. On to Signal next week.
